Questions to patrons. Does subscribing to beachsidebunnies give you permanent access to paid content? Or does the access key expire?

Yes. And even you unsubs him in the month after, you will keep acessing to paid content. At least that was true in the past six months ago.

The key expires after some time once the patreon subscription ends, what are you talking about.
The only thing you keep access of is the phone book and downloading special faeries feature.
Other than that, if you didn't back up the original game (apk, exe etc) and need to redownload it again, you would have to resub to beachsidebunnies patreon to get an active key again. Same goes for getting updates in case your access key is expired

the patreon email thing is super annoying. I know this question has been beaten to death, but how hard would it be to hack the game to make the special faries accessable?

I don't really know how this works so I'm probably wrong, but I imagine you'd need someone to sign up and gain access to the special fairies and download them, then rip the assets for them and create a mod that would add them as an option to the base game
