I stopped supporting the guys at Project Helius, I'll just be getting my builds from here instead. I've been supporting for the last 8 months, and two of the months we went without content - on messaging the Patreon (to get the content I was owed, ya know, for the money I paid), I was ignored. $64 dollars for nothing, I probably won't even get the full game when it comes out considering they couldn't even send me a build they owed us.
They're honestly not worth giving money to, they ALWAYS release builds late (this has been a common thing for the whole time I've been supporting)
They add minimal content each time (2 months of no content for a couple of animations? Really?)
Apparently they've been working on Alet (a second model) and on another game as well, when they haven't even finished this one! We've been promised Alet for MONTHS (still have yet to see her outside of some shitty renders), and now we're getting half-assed content for FD1 because they want to create a whole other game before they even half-way complete the current one (There's legit 4 maps, and a dozen outfits, not worth $24, Illusion's Games offer way more)
These guys won't last more than a year or two, mark my words, eventually people are going to get sick of the shitty management and so-so content updates.

Unfortunately, that's not the way Patreon works. It's not that you pay someone for a product, but it's that you support someone with your money, without anything necessarily in return. You offer money so that they can continue doing what they are doing. That's how Patreon has always been to my knowledge.
They probably will, as this thread alone is already from 2016. And if you look at other H game Patreon pages, I don't see why Project Helius would not do well. Some projects are far worse, and still get a lot of support.
Were you expecting a story mode? There hasn't been a story mode in any of the versions that I've played. What makes you think this new one should?

Wait a sec, you are aware that Illusion games cost on average 10k+ yen (that's about $100) upon initial release without the expansion packs (there are usually one or two for each title, usually priced at 5k+ yen) right? For poorly received (and developed) products such as Sexy Beach PR they just ditched the whole project, leaving a massive amount of game-breaking bugs unattended and moved on as if nothing had happened.
So cost-efficiency wise I'd say there's not much to complain, to be fair.
On second thought, probably I'm the only fool on this forum who actually paid for Illusion games

I also buy porn games if i like them. If nobody buys the stuff none will be coded any more.

I was saying that imo Project Helius has done a decent job for the price they demanded, not meant to criticize Illusion.
But yea, I don't regret paying for the games. Even Alicesoft turns to mobile market nowadays.
