Very brief summary:

What is up with Japan's weather and the team getting sick??? Winter just passed and I haven't gotten any colds.

Quite strange... We were supposed to get 0.4 like 4-5 days ago if the ci-en post is to be trusted. However here we are with no news at all... The delays are real bad it seems. Hopefully we get something soon.:)

So to summarize the

-More delays but we really should be getting 0.4 soon. (Which seems redundant at this point but I promise on my end to at least upload the demos when they come out)
-Some gameplay changes-> the brother and sister will be able to naturally split up in the east district(east district is where brothels and stuff are found) so more H scenes
-Due to above changes we are going to have even more delays!
-More explanations on the subject of changes.


Note:
-Almost certain delay on release date->The steam page for the game says it will release in Q3 of 2025. This information is certain to be false now. BBQ just wont have enough time to complete the game by august/september given how fast game development is. Even if they do manage to abuse themselves and produce the game by Q3 I strongly doubt the quality so let's just sit back and wait.

Man and team getting sick most of the time now with their game getting delayed every other month, going almost like scars of summer dev who either got sick or just lazy (with the "fell in love with their heroine" problem)

At this point it wont even be a stretch to say this game will release by Febuary next year.


if we follow the logic of one test version every 2 months(considering we're on 0.34 now and 0.31 was in January this is pretty generous) it's going to take a long while.

Eh, I personally prefer a longer development time. It gives better odds that the game will receive proper attention and polish. Not to mention that some of the delays are because BBQ is listening to feedback from the people testing these games and doing adjustments. That's a good thing in the long run.

People need to learn to be patient. The really good games always take a while to be developed.

Plus... it's not like the guy wanted his staff to get sick. From what I've seen of the ci-en articles, BBQ isn't particularly happy about it either, but what can he do? Tell them to work from the hospital?

And I absolutely agree! I'm not criticizing the dev in any way or form, these are circumstances well outside their control and the only thing they can actually control is how they react to this, and they've done a pretty good job at it so far. I'm just saying that the game will inevitable get delayed more and more. This is unfortunate but hey that's life!

I do wish they were more... active with their posts on ci-en but functionally its not an issue.

I too don't mind a game with a long development process since the game's concept&plot is already made and all so rushing it and doing an overall mediocre job is in fact just a waste. I am somewhat worried the dev might be pressured to cut certain things short because of the delays but we can only hope ig.

True, but we also have to that in consideration that the dev is making 2 games at the same this and a video player (idk if I'm right) and his main project is the fps game

BBQ is still making it, along with fallen priest and bbq player which is partly the reason why we're getting updates so very slowly. We still get cgs from the 3d fps from time to time in the CI-EN updates.
