It is not a bad game, but I think it is heavily carried by the art. If it had the average art seen on dlsite it would be viewed as a lacklustre game.

Wait WHAT? I put the game on hold right before the prince take me to his manor while in 1.03, I've read that the prince route is fucked but is it bugged in 1.03 too? I would rather not start from scratch ;_;
I think that's it, nothing more.
I've done that so i don't even know what the fuck the prince/villa is about. I've the feeling i missed a big part of the game, even if it's a buggy one.
Yeah Nebel was really hard, maybe too hard (or maybe too complicated) but interesting and unique nonetheless. Here you can easily protect her and most importantly you feel no urge to save her quickly. Like the days pass and nothing happen to her as long as you kiss her, so you can farm ressource and XP, you don't have interesting dilemma to rush, to prioritize something and ask yourself what prioritize before it's too late.
Maybe the eastern area of the city provide a bit, especially with the shady merchant but nothing hard at all. As you said, the battle is difficult at first but since you realize you have all the time of the world, what's the point?
Yeah the lack of challenge is the major drop compared to the last game imo. Also some part of the game wheren't explaned well (wtf do the stockings since you can't equip them, some secret place don't have anything here, i didn't understand how to upgrade the gun or unlock more than the flintlock even if i liked the quest to get it, etc.... )

Is there a cut-off point in the story where the Matthias' first event stops triggering?
I did a playthrough all the way up to just before the final boss, where I wanted to do his route right before finishing off the game, but that was a mistake, his event will not trigger (since he was apparently aiming for the Demon Lord too).
However, porting that save to NG+ bugged it out and I couldn't trigger the event on a NG+ run despite meeting the conditions, so I don't know if it was just a bug in the first place or whatever.
Did another playthrough on a new save (new game not NG+) and I was still able to trigger his event right before grabbing the Stellar Ruby, not sure how far you can take the story before it stops his event if that's even a thing.
I also don't know how to get better guns from that one guy, the quest ends at Peacemaker IV and I don't how to take it further.
The teddy bear showing up on new runs is a 1.0.5 bug, but it's seemingly purely visual, since I noticed it does not effect the bar until you actually pick up the bear from the forest dungeon.
Played all the way to one of the Matthias endings, very hot.
I'm looking forward to playing more once they've ironed out most of the bugs, the current version (1.0.5) is still not in a great state.

All this hatred could be due to the hype surrounding their previous game, Nebel. I must say that, while I liked the gameplay mechanics, I detested the excessive grinding and meager rewards for the absurd amount of time and effort required. Ultimately, Nebel was a project that sparked a desire for a similar game but improved game that would correct its flaws, and they obviously failed to do so with this new game. I will wait patiently until they finish fixing all the bugs and add many improvements so I can enjoy it properly

If you understood the game you could speedrun it in under an hour on the true route..

Am I incredibly dumb? First night roam event where trina is asleep in bed but a mess. found and crafted the forced kiss item and interacted with all the drunks but I can't end the night roam. Interacting with the bed does nothing and I can't find anything else on the two maps I can use to progress.
yes, after you enter first magic circle in the demon castle some voice will say that to proceed further you need a key and such purple doors become unlocked
I interacted with the circle and went back to the door, but I still couldn't open it, like the image above.
Ive completed the pure love route so now I would like to know what the conditions to get to the villa are? I am putting off doing it now until a couple more patches hit. But it would be nice to know then.
I think his recent patch borked the save if you loaded a save that was at the night timing. I encountered it as well.
