It looks like the game won't get any more updates.
no clue, not subscribed, just saw they made a progress post so I think alive?
They say the new update should be out by the end of this month. They are also not charging anyone for this one because it took so long.
it would be so great if this game got continued... always pissed me of that the only path that was somewhat developed what the one with the piece-of-shit somewhat rapised lord..

Because, while the dev did posts on Patreon, there hasn't been a new actual game version for... uh... I think it's over a year now? Or are we still under a year? I'm too lazy to check the exact dates. It's been a loooooooooooong time though... and there's been delays over delays because of Wolf and his work on CA2 which was supposed to finish last year btw.
Over 1.5 years, last thread update was December 2023.
And yes, the abandoned tag is generally based on if a moderator sees the game hasn't been updated in a few months. The on hold tag mostly only gets used if the developer explicitly posts it on their patreon (or whatever) or is active here and posts it here.
He seems to be realeasing the update this month...

It's not released yet, the latest public post (an edit to the previous one) says the 13th or 14th. You can easily check if it's actually released on their patreon, even if you can't access the post yourself.

We have an urgent matter at home this weekend! Sorry for not being able to do the final proofreading in time. The 0.413 trial version will be released tomorrow 9-14th (with a small amount of English translation cannot be completed in time). We'll supplement the remaining English translation in the next week and release a new patch or version at that time. Of course, for Chinese players, the 0.413 trial version is already the complete content of FV third update.
