Ren'Py - Abandoned - False Hero [v0.39.1 Beta] [Enyo Eerie]

I really like the progression through the story with various characters. I didn't care much for Lucy but I'm curious to see what happens with the Twins and Tiffany and her mother in next versions. There's a lot of meaning behind each story of the characters and I felt I dove deep into each scenario. Some things may also be relatable in IRL too.

First of all this is spoiler rating/review so be warned.

Story - It's a missed opportunity to do something unique with MC being a psychologist. Instead of doing something like having most if not all of the girls being his patients' none of them are or one of them is, and the plot barely touches on this, he could have been anything from lawyer to any sort of a businessman and or business owner and nothing would be different story-wise as long as Jane is his secretary/assistant. Why not do something new and unique? Girls coming to him talking about their traumas life dramas and he nudging them in one direction or another with his advice even without mind control games, just gaining their trust and over time influencing directions they take with the mix of trust and desire. It's something that also makes ntr easily implemented. Instead of this we get pretty much run of the mill story of corruption. The story is fine in terms of doing its job, but it's far from unique or special. As i said in my opinion just a missed opportunity here. 2 out of 5 maybe 2.5.

Art - This is probably the best thing this game has going for it, for the most part really good, girls are well done and for the better part they feel alive and not like 3d models with the exception of one to two. Character models are as i said mostly well done, there is one or two feeling bit bland but most are good. This being said i don't see any girl here being next mom from dreams of desire or daughter from dating my daughter kind of stand out model. But again this is to me the best part of the game, here its 4.5 out of 5.

Game mechanics - it's worth saying that for a sandbox game it's working fine enough, there is no grind to talk about, there aren't dozens of locations that you can go there are only a few and every girl is at one of the locations this won't change depending on the day or part of the day. Separating routes for each girl and following each day with single route is kinda easy and makes sure that you don't miss something with that girl. The story has a flow of a sort it's not a scene collector as some sandbox games know to be.

Girl's - I don't want to go into each personality or girl individually cause this comes down to personal tastes, there are some i liked and some that felt meh. They are all doing what they need to do both look wise and personality-wise their stories are certainly good enough to drive their own stories some just have more of what i look for.

NTR - While yes, you have the option to turn off ntr i get a feeling that this story is meant and it is better to be played with ntr turned on than turned off. The flow is just more natural, it feels like some stuff is just cut of or left halfway in, instead of fully seeing what's going on u get glimpses. I get that some people strongly dislike ntr and this is why you can avoid it completely and i get that a lot of people like this one dick to rule them all kind of approach but not every story has to be like that, not every story has to be a harem simulator. Having an ntr as an option is certainly ok, implying and girls talking about previous sex experiences is fine not every girl has to be virgin who never saw cock before MC showed his shlong. Liking ntr is not about u being a cuck, cucking has two ways two men involved u are a cuck if u like to watch someone fuck ur girl, liking to fuck someone else's girl makes u a bull. Either way turning ntr here just cuts some dialogue and context that can be easily avoided if ntr is on, the only difference is more of a dialogue and explanation why some girls are like they are. Also men who are ntr options are so bland, just vanilla a cheap sort of vanilla. I am not asking for a fat ugly guys but there is nothing here in terms of those guys they are just very bland. I can enjoy ntr if a situation is set up well, a reason for ntr and a character that makes that scene good are important and there is nothing like that here, if there is some ntr here it seems like its gonna be very vanilla. Idk i feel like fear of losing people who dislike ntr influenced ntr side a lot, he implemented ntr but in such a way that makes it mostly not fun for people who like ntr. Which kinda makes me think why go there at all if u are afraid to lose some money from people who dislike ntr? I guess cause of money from people who like it? Either way the way that ntr is set here i would prefer it out of this game entirely.

I am writing this at version [v0.20.1], content so far is small and there is not so much progress with most of the girls, idk if this is due to doing several girls at once and updating their roads so that all of them have something. Some have more than others but again i didn't see all that much of action it's more of a set up so far.

All in all i feel like this is just another average run of the mill game, nothing sets it apart out in any meaningful way. The good thing i guess its just that its done well enough it's well polished, average is just such a good description game is doing it's "job" in almost everything but in no way its doing a great job in any aspect at least not for me. We have so many unpolished and rushed games for the sake of cashing in, so much more games that are bellow this one in terms of a quality that it works really good for this game. It's like a 7 standing surrounded with a bunch of 3 to 5 out of 10 kind of girls. It makes this game feel real good when in fact its just a well done well polished but otherwise bang average game. This is what a bare minimum in terms of quality for games should be. Don't make this game a 10 or 9 out of 10 its at best 6 or 7 and 3.5 out of 5 this is not what a games should aim to be in terms of a glass ceiling, this is what games should aim to be as a very least let this game and others like show what you need to do to have a polished and presentable product.

The interface is good but a bit confusing in some parts. For example, it took me quite a while to understand how I could enter the family's house.
I just clicked it on the map and didn't realize I should click "Melanie's house" down on the right side to actually enter.

I definitely recommend.

Brilliant writing with good characters in a believable setting. You feel like a total creep, but you are supposed to. The character models actually look like people instead of blown up sex dolls. I can't wait to see where this goes!

Hands down one of the best games out there right now. Just the amount of potential the game has and the crazy work done by the dev here is simply astounding. The only other game I fell so hard for all the characters in a game was Being a DIK and i thought it couldn't happen again with any other game.

Enyo Eerie has done an insane job with the renders and the story line, so much so that you'll crave for more and more updates every time you run out of content, which to me is the greatest indicator of a an insanely good game. The characters have such distinct and impressively thought out personalities that you can't stop appreciating the dev for this wonderful game.

With consistent updates and work like this I'm pretty sure this game is going to break into the top 10s of this platform in no time.

absolutely some of the best pussies i've ever seen, overall beautiful/amazing models/graphics/visuals, like the characters and premise enough nothing that special but good enough, but the amount of dialogue/pacing is a weak point for me, feels really slow, like i'm clicking 200 times for 1 tease scene. this game/dev kinda reminds me of Midnight Paradise and its dev Lewdlab who i also think has something really special visually but pacing/story wise, i really wish they'd maybe take some notes from a game like MILF in Time or even make a team together where the dev from MILF in Time directs/does the story bc MILF in Time's visuals are pretty weak but has a much better sense of pacing. Or even a game like Lust Epidemic.

overall very promising, hope the full game will end up being very satisfying but it's already a long/slow burn for my taste

If you don't like visual novels because they're generally badly written, then you will probably like this one. Because this is the only visual novel I have ever actually enjoyed. Why? Because the writer is actually pretty talented. There's no annoying anime or weeb style writing. The writer actually subverts cliches, which is nice. And the story...doesn't really feel like a story. And that's a positive. It mainly feels like you're genuinely interacting with the characters.

And the Main Character, btw, is strongly written. You're essentially playing Patrick Bateman if he was a therapist and not a raging lunatic. However, there's definitely interesting sociopathic and obsessive traits with the main character that I fucking love. The quality of the characters are just such a step above anything else on this site, thank god. So rare to find.

As well, your actions really carry weight, too. Luckily I haven't found any game ending actions, it seems like the game treats you like a fucking adult and assumes you'd make actions that line up with what you want to do and doesn't punish you for it. Instead, your choices simply progress the storyline in a realistic way. Like fuck, I made a decision in the game I hope would go the way I would write it and it did. And I felt really fucking bad, genuinely. And I have never gotten that from an erotic game. And that's called really good fucking writing.

However, it does take a bit to get to the sexual content, but that's because it tries to be realistic and I appreciate that. But the sexual content that's here, even the teasing, is so damn hot because it's not generic as all fuck. The writer is actually playing with interesting and hot situations that less talented writers don't have the imagination to come up with, sadly.

My only complaints are that there's not enough pictures for scenes. It kinda just sits on one for a long ass time, but they are beautiful images luckily. And the writing can often feel like english isn't their main language, but the content is so good I can overlook it's flaws.

The renders in this game are the best quality I've ever seen, the story is interesting and I like that the different stories/girls are linear and don't really interact, I can focus on 1 story if I find it more interesting.

The story is somewhat slow but this makes it more realistic, I personally like this. A side effect of this is of course not many lewd scenes yet, so if you're just here for the sex, you should skip this one for now.

I think I've read every line of text there is to read, seen every render there is to be seen and so far I can't find anything bad about this game. Maybe a grammar mistake here or there, a button that would be better somewhere else... But the creator is neither a native English speaker nor UX specialist (as far as I know at least) so these things might initially be incorrect but will likely get fixed in the future.

Even if you dislike NTR (this game has an NTR tag if you haven't noticed) you can turn NTR on/off at the start of the game so it doesn't even matter.

I love this game and the direction it is taking. So little content at the moment I finished it all in two sessions haha. I can't wait to see this game grow older and get more content. The renders are gorgeous, the story is interesting. Maybe too little sex but it's acceptable with this type of game in the current stage of development, the sex will come later when it fits the story properly. The journey is part of the fun and I really enjoy how the story unfolds currently.

Decent corruption game with possibilities. It is a slow burn type game so if your not into that and want a quick fap, this is the wrong game.

There isn't a lot of content in it yet but you'd probably get about 3-5 hours of run time out of it before you run out of stuff to do.
The secretary is an interesting character and another in there too but find out for yourself!

game is ok but not great. The story has some interesting bits but is really let down by the lack of options. i dont really feels like i am doing more than unlocking new scenes. some characters feel alittle random and used as filler as they are in no way connected to the plot other than to add content.

Oh man the feels with this game, especially with the twins. I'm a total dominator most of the time but this is one of the rare times I just wanted to baby the heck out of a character. Renders are gorgeous and the story is great, as the MC actually gets his skills from his actual occupation and doesn't just pull them out of his ass. Really looking forward towards future updates!

This game is amazing.

It has the best ‘Humiliation’ plot out of any game on this site.

It is interesting because the woman who get humiliated find themselves enjoying it, they don’t break down and cry but discover another side of themselves they never knew or suppressed.

The game is a fun journey of discovery.

There is a lot more I could say on the game but for me, the 'Humiliation' tag was the most important takeaway. It is an aspect I felt that the game sets itself apart from other games here. It goes deeper into the aspect of humiliation than any other game I have seen.

One other thing I will say is the Cuckold/Netorare (NTR) scenes are well created and interesting watch play out. I know people hate it but not all do and the game will at some point or does give you the option to avoid it. It is well worth exploring it though as they well done and the plot of the story is better for it.

a rare not-garbage game - easily in my top 5! only wish there're more renders during some dialogues and story sections - i'm sure the creator would've nailed them.. regardless, this is a top quality game, superb renders, great angles, psychologically realistic (i'd even say sophisticated) dialogue and scenes, great job!

Pros:
-Beautiful visuals/characters/lighting
-Characters are interesting
-POV thoughts from other characters bring them to life
-Easy to navigate and figure out what to do next

Cons:
-Translation is 7/10, passable but sometimes the grammar or the premise of the conversation gets confusing
-Game has a day cycle, but most events happen during the morning or afternoon, more events at night would be nice so that you don't have to skip time so often. For example spending time with the twins should happen in the evening instead of the morning since it seems like you are doing it after they get off work.


Overall the game is great, the cons are small nitpicks since the game is still in development. I'm definitely looking forward to future updates. I would just recommend to the author to hire or have someone edit the dialogue.

Very good potential for this game and could become a favorite .... but I feel right now it’s spread pretty thin. The H-scenes are not fully there . I will keep a eye here , and hope things get better. For Fucks sake please don’t give up or abandon this. Your doing great just imho slowly

I really like this game. ^^ for those who are looking for good slow corruption on the girls, this is it. I really enjoy the progress of corrupting the girls. instead of just "oh okay get mind controled and fuck". you really feel the progress of each girl turning into hungry slut.

and then visual is really great: they are using photography and cinematography rules such as:
-"The Rule of Third",
-"3 point Lighting"
-"Rembrant Lighting"
and etc

basic but essential stuff of cinematography are used. so even though most scene are still images, they are really pleasing to the eyes. some scere may even look so realistic because of the render.

sadly there is no background music, a mystery ambient bgm would be very suitable for this imo.

- Nice and interesting storyline.
- Adorable graphics.
- Live characters.
- No grid.
- Easy to understand what do to next.
- You can act nice or otherwise.
- Unique story.

I purely recommend trying this one!

Review Version 0.18:

Came across FH on their cross-promotion with Milky Touch. Now they're both my favourite games!

Now I've only really played the Mel content in FH and already, just on her story alone this has got to be crowned the best corruption game on the market. The pace of the story is elegantly crafted, descriptions on internal dialogues run deep, the personalities of each character are multi-layered with their own motivations, histories, fears and dreams in the world. Enyo's expert writing gives lives to his characters, who in essence start walking off the screen to become real individuals.

Additionally, there's the option of turning the plot into a more Romance / Love-orientated story, what allowed me to give the game a try in the first place.

Finally, the two most important people associated with FH: Sebastian and Enyo, are both are highly intelligent, driven, dedicated, flexible, and at the same time down-to-earth human beings. What's not to like?

One of my favorite games. Very kinky and manipulative. I really like the build of the relationships. The renders are sexy and believable and it flows smoothly. Wish there was more and can't wait for updates.
