VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Family at Home [Final] [SALR Games]

The game was quite enjoyable, featuring impressive graphics and engaging gameplay. Although the story started slightly odd, it gradually became more interesting. I’m also excited to hear that a remake is in the works. Currently, I am playing the sequel. Great job, developer, and keep up the good work!

The good: PLENTY of sex scenes.

The story is dumb as hell a lot of the time, and the writing is horrible. The sex scenes are nice, but the animations are the same as every other game that runs this engine.

The most annoying aspect is the lack of transitions between scenes. One frame shows the character sitting in his room, the next one is him talking to his mom. Creates a very disjointed story. Also, the author doesn't seem to follow it's narrative: you're supposed to be locked in the house as it's filling with gas meaning you're about to die... But it's ok, mom needs to relax so she goes outside and masturbates by the pool.

If the writing was better, that would be a 4 star game.
If the graphics were more unique, that would be a 4 star game.
If the transitions were there, that would be a 3.5 star game.

If all those were in, that would be a 5 star game. Alas...

I would recommend it to people who get annoyed by slow boil story.

Spelling and grammar errors everywhere. Rendering glitches. There's even one sex scene where the mouse cursor of the software used to create the scene was recorded in the video. Very poorly written script. Bad pacing. Zero character development. And the sex scene talk is mostly ridiculous ("oh yeah son, fuck your mommy", I'm sure you know about awful sex talk like this that seems to have come out of some badly written 3D comic.)

I don't really have anything positive to say about this one, other than I played a couple games even worse than this. There's a remake of this game in development. Maybe it's better? No idea, since it's far from finished.

The character designs and sex scenes are barely acceptalbe. Even considering the limitations of the software used to make the renders and animations, some of the models look much better then others. Some models simply look bad.
The worst thing of this game however the writing.
The story is passable, it could even be great if done well, however the execution here is very bad.
Badly written dialogue.
Characters behaving differently from one minute to the other, as if they had Bipolar disorder.
Some of the women in the game suddenly become so hot for MC that they immediately want to have sex with him while seemingly not being influenced by the chemical or even before the whole incident starts. (neighbor)

I've seen there is a remake in progress. I hope not only the graphics will e enhanced but also the writing will become better.

I mean, the build up and development is thrown away with the chemical idea.
But in the end it was a good experience.

For those interested, you can totally avoid NTR.
There are not many choices, though (regarding LI).

And although not Shakespeare level, it does have some 'plot to it'.
The chemical/mind effect lust thing is kinda more of the same formula, but the overall story did help attenuate the cliché. I ended it actually interested to see how the sequel would be.

Visuals are a bit out of pattern, but overall good.
Animations are HS basic.
There are few HJ and FJ, andd lots of BJ and sex.
Content is overall well-placed.
Felt it to be worth of the time invested.

This game is almost good. Sadly. Here is the reason why:

Story: It start as bad generic porn plot, but turn out to be quite interesting with plenty of twist and turns. However I still feel like it could be more, the game has 13 characters locked in the house yet we discover almost nothing about them, save a handful all the others don't even tie into the story, they are just... there.

Art: it's good, Farah strange choice of lipstick distract me a bit in the beginning but other than that the art is ok. There was however an slightly decrease in quality of the animations as the game progressed.

Content: The story is engaging enough to keep me interested for it's fairly short runtime and there is plenty of sex scenes too (I will get to that soon). The game is very linear, with almost no branching paths and only one ending, this has caused a few lines of dialog to not match with my previous choices in a few points.

THE PORN!!
The porn in the game is waaay too on the nose. At the begining of the game, a neighbor try to get the MC to visit her and fix her tap (only to sex the MC), the neighbor is never seen again, this scene has no reason to be there other than to pad the game with sex scenes. This is the reason the game has so many sex scenes, I think it would be better if instead the MC could choose who he wanna fuck rather fuck everyone, the only time the game allow you to choose which character to bang is in regards to Emilia, the trans cousin. Which makes the lack of choice in regards to the other characters even more glaring.

I felt a little bored playing it, but h-scenes are nice.

Sadly this game is not very good.

The story is terrible so i skipped most of it.

The characters are very boring and one dimensional, everyone is a slut and wants to fuck, there was a story reason for that too but it´s not really good.

Music and sound is not good either, there are moans in sex scenes and normally I would like that but here it just sounds ripped out of a real porn.

The best thing about the game are the sex animations but sadly they get boring too after a while, because it´s really vanilla and the dirty talk is not creativ.

There are also Ntr scenes but you can skip them if you want, the same with the trans girl if you don´t like it you can skip it.



I would only recomend it to people, who want a lot of incest, because almost everyone you fuck is a family member but it doesn´t really feel taboo in this game.

Playthrough : 4-6 hours

This game isn't bad at all, good animations (even if in rare cases there are glitches with "insertion"), good models and the your choices can change the outcome (not much though, and mostly to avoid some fetishes like Trans, NTR).
The story is a matter of taste, personally I find it ok, the storytelling is sometimes ok, sometimes feels rushed (and without proof reading).

At the beginning the sounds were good, but after first 10 minutes, voices went off, they were not matching the situations almost every time (and some with weird looping).
But the most immersion killing aspect IMO, is how the transitions are done. Sometimes a scene jumps to the next and you feel that there is something missing (like you blacked out). The worst are the transitions in the animations, not smooth (Stops between viewpoints).

I don't regret playing, because after I turned the sound off, I enjoyed it a little more. I should have done it sooner.

Gameplay
Controls: The usual Ren’py interface.
Interface: A click to scroll dialogue system, with occasional choices. However, the lack of a gallery keeps it out of 5 stars.
Writing
Plot: Pretty interesting. Gives enough reason for sequels.
Characters: Different from each other, with different motivation.
Typos: Very frequent, but not bad enough that you can’t understand.
Art
Models: Great, although the body types could use some diversity.
Animations: Excellent.
Background: As good as they need to be.
Audio
Music: Silent.
Effects: Silent.
Voices: Sounds like they're stolen from real porn, but they definitely work .

This game was great, i am not sure which game the videos are extracted from, but they are nice enough quality.
the good thing about this game is that it has a good story, but not a huge or big word count, so you will not find yourself reading for 5+ minutes in order to get to the next scene.
and if u like that last advantage i mentioned you will like that the game sex scenes are usually back to back 5 scenes in a row then story reading time then back to fucking.
i am not sure if i am generous in my rating because i was tired of the last few games where there was ALOT of talking.
the girls are all great
there is skippable trap content .
there is also skippable ntr content for the MC's mother.

It has an interesting setting with some underbaked elements: the cult part of the plot (tbh the plot in general), and the ntr part. Girls are nice (hair looks low rez tho) and the h-scenes are great tho. Really would like to see some branching, games set in basically one room like this ought to open up more interactions.

I think its an okay game. Everything felt a mix of average or above average.

The story was good in a silly way. Its not a serious story.
The art for all the girls is pretty good. They are all beautiful and a large selection.
The animation is pretty good and it even has some voice sounds which can make it feel more immersive. (not voice lines just sex sounds.)

Overall this game had a lot of sex. In fact the story doesn't even seem like a story until the final scenes because there is so much sex during the story. I think the game is worth a try though.

The game is fine if you just want to jerk off, but if you are looking for a game with a good story, this is definitely not your game. Since his story is a bit absurd and made just to be between the sex scenes.

Silly plot but fun in its own way. If you are looking for a slow burn, with lots of plot twist and drama then this is NOT your game.

If your looking for a silly romp with lots of big asses, then this is your game. Animations are HS style but have life like movement in loops. Clearly the Dev worked hard on the character art. Worth a try.

Decent visuals and CGI make for a good experience with this game and there are very few ways to go wrong (the only bad choices seem to be skipping a sex scene or exploring trans sex scenes).
The story is a bit all over the place and it just turns into a series of clicking to get to the next sex scenes. If you're just after some CG sex scenes with buxom women, then it's good, but those wanting a bit more character development will be disappointed.

Nice game, I won't go into the technical details because I'm not a developer nor a writer but I enjoyed the story, the animations and the relationships between the characters. Good job. I recommend giving the game a chance if you like the genre and get your opinion on it.

Ok game, with an average story and strange character models. But full of animations and of course it had to have a gimmick to make all the incest possible so it was a chemical this time around. Well, it was OK enough time and it's time to go ahead with another one.

To be honest this game is not a classic, but it is not too bad either.

Not bad but not too interesting as a story. The animations and coding could use some improvement. but all in all a good medium sized effort over 10 chapters in less than a year. Maybe a couple of hours playthrough and that's enough.

I will look forward to the next chapter but will probably not play it before it is completed, which is what I did here.. not exactly a page-turner
