Ren'Py - Family, Friends and Strangers [v2024.10] [JohnAndRich]

This is a great game kinetic novel. The writing is solid, and the story all comes together well. The two main female models are both very attractive, quite a bit different from each other, and from other females in the game - I think they nailed the innocent redhead and curvy milf looks for those two. Most of the other females are pretty bland/standard looking, but that's OK.

I like that they offer the one branch point, with the one branch being completed. The story is still progressing on the branch that I find more interesting. I'm hoping they develop more humiliation/degradation content as that proceeds.

I know this wanst meant to be a game but a story but it would be nice to have chooses so you could make your on path with the different girls but o well the story wasnt bad a bit basic but good. Overall the game was ok .

A game that never figured out what it wants to be. A kinetic novel (but not really, there are two storylines), it pretended hard to be non consensual NTR (but never was one), slowly grew into sharing/sell your girlfriend type of the story. Was started years ago, so renders are average. If you like sharing, you might like the game. Otherwise not so much.

Also, keep in mind that there are about five sex scenes in the entire game and MC loses virginity in chapter after 10, so don’t hold hold your breath for much wanking time.

And if you come for the NTR, here you will find none.

Loving this KINETIC NOVEL (not a game) so far. It's well paced with some intriguing plot twists. I like the fact that the novel includes an alternate route you can take so you don't have just one static story (which I don't mind), but it gives you an alternative story without converting it into a more complex game. I also like that you're not drowning in sex, and other ridiculous plots I see so often in other VNs. Well done!

NTR & Blackmail, that's all you really need to know. Some people are going to love it (me) some are going to hate it , I don't think there is a lot of middle ground on this one. If forced sex, groping, corruption, blackmail and all round nasty with a big dose of NTR is for you, jump in, if not, move on.

Reviewing [v0.12a] This game is amazing so many good subliminal messages and straight up truth given about dating. The graphics are great, the animation is wonderful, and the character development is one of the best i've seen. This game is definitely worth the wait. There's not much sex scenes but if you pay attention to the story you'll understand why.

I had to review this before I completed all the Chapters currently only on 9 but this is by far a very well rounded story I would highly recommend this story and look forward to any future updates. If you're looking for a quick fap I suggest you look elsewhere. However, if you want an engaging well written story then you've come to the right place. Well done DEV 5/5 Stars.

Family, Friends and Strangers [v0.11 Full] review -
Starting of with the positives is the game renders is okay not high quality renders when compared to other games but it is better than most games .Characters which introduced in the first chapter was great .
Moving on with the story and the writing it is pretty much disappointing , Women in this game are sexually assaulted in the public by police using fake charges and she just stands there and obeys their orders instead of questioning them / calling lawyers and his son enjoys watches her mom getting groped in public . I stopped playing it and deleted the game after that . So in the end 2 stars for this dumb story with no logic and poor writing .

If you after a gut wrenching and rewarding story then look no where else.
The story is fictional but do hold some truths to them as some of these things really do happen in real life.

Now as many say it's NTR, I've yet to see that to be truth as the women who are possible Li's or even available for sex to the MC have yet to be ruined by a game npc. There is no incest in the game so family is out as possible NTR. Maybe some cuck holding is at play but for me it's all part of the story so something that I can easily accept.

Visually Rich have some very cool ideas and although the renders are not highest quality compared to many VN's they are still very good. Trust me better than many other games that seems to garner more support than this game. There are some small clipping issue's now and again but I believe the dev addresses them as and when he can.

As for the writing, it's very good and for me probably the easiest going style of writing I've read playing a VN. Grammar/spelling very good. As I've said easy to read and flowing. The bad cops in the game are so well made, that even Eric is not so menacing anymore.

So to sum up, i feel there are too many reviews or comments here thinking this is a fap o rama game and every girl is suppose to be the MC's cum dumpster (of course that is their opinions). This is not the case. The game's strength is its interesting characters archs and story.

yes the visuals are ok , but not top.
yes the updates take quite some time.

- i get it for free, so in my book i will and cant complain about updates or anything else.
- it has ntr and is unapologetic about it.... not all games can be the same guys, it would be boring. i love many genre as long as they are well made.
- and the most importand thing for me the way it is told it not always but at least sometimes create a loaded atmosphere.

While a sense of misogyny is palpable, there's no doubt this is well-written and intriguing. It's a dark look at both a small community and human nature that manages to ride a fine line between sexy and off-putting.

Positives:
+ Very well done setting
+ Girls are very attractive and believable
+ Great MILF BUSH!

Negatives:
- Story and themes might be a little too dark for some

As mentioned above, right now, the game takes a pretty grim account of women, which might not be to everyone's tastes, however, given the generally high quality of the writing, I wouldn't be surprised if that gets subverted at some point.

Note to Devs: Very intriguing so far!

I enjoyed that game more than I thought I would in the beginning. Indeed, the police isn't very plausible and I think you just have to accept that if you want to enjoy where the story is trying to bring you. Also, as clearly mentioned in the first post of the thread, it's a kinetic novel and you also have to be able to appreciate that kind of games.

In the end, I realized those two factors weren't important at all (for me at least), as I was really immersed in the characters and the gradual corruption. Many girls are hot as fuck and mc isn't the only dick in town: the depravation is real, I love it so much.
My favorite females for now are Becky and Melanie (the sister). I hope mc will be able to make a move on Melanie eventually, maybe even (a man can dream) a threesome with Carl since she seems to appreciate him so much. Betty is completely different but I like how honest/devoted she is (and her model of course, beautiful). I just hope she will become more corrupted as the story continue, her changing the way she dresses is a good first step. I'd love a more sexual Becky.
But in the end, I like a lot of characters. I hope Tolly will get closer to mc (she still needs to give her boyfriend "retribution" for what he did, MC would be a great choice for that : o ), and that we'll see Ashley again in the story (great model).

Despite the game not being perfect, I have to give 5 stars just because I was really hooked and when I reached the end of the current version, it was hard to stop lol. Good one, looking forward to see the continuation.

This VN basically takes cliches and puts them on steroids.
The story is so ridiculously implausible and honestly it just goes from bad to worse with each chapter. The MC's mother gets sexually assaulted in from of an entire school. The corrupt cops think they could ruin someone's life and blackmail the mom to do sexual activities by planting a small bag of weed? Ya I don't think so. She likely had no prior offenses on her record and even a shitty public defender could easily plead her charges down to a small slap on the wrist. It is really just a ridiculous plot. Then you have the son and his friend getting turned on from the mom - while she is being sexually assaulted by the corrupt cops. Tits are tits, the son says.
This is one of the few VN's that I actually quit playing before I got to the end of the current version.

There really aren't any redeeming qualities in this VN - the story is not good, the graphics/renders are nothing to write home about. This is really more of a kinetic novel (there aren't really any choices).
I enjoy a good corruption VN. This is not one of them.

Overview: ACAB

Story: You, the MC, are the "good student" right out a 50s educational film about becoming a productive member of society. Around you is your slutty but mostly absentee older sister, a nerdy but reliable best friend, your traumatized but kind and smart girlfriend, and your completely normal mother. You go to a school with every kind of schoolkid stereotype. From bullies to bitchy cheerleaders to the straight-A asian girl who isn't allowed to have a boyfriend.

This is all turned upside down when some outrageously corrupt cops plant some evidence on you and start blackmailing you. This game is exceptionally unusual in that it has a male MC with a female cast, and the male MC is the primary one being "corrupted". It's not the girls doing the corrupting either. Your mother also gets "corrupted", but since she never seems to actually change her mind I'm not sure it works.
This is where the story falters IMHO. Despite the game continually reassuring us that the characters are top of their class and smart and even cunning, they are all thicker than molasses once the bad cop shows up. If literally anybody stopped to think for 10 seconds they would realize what is happening. So many times a character will suddenly do something uncharacteristically slutty while crying and the MC will be totally mystified as to what could possibly be happening. It's kind of frustrating to have the characters SO FAR behind the audience. Even when he knows his mom is also being blackmailed he still refuses to compare notes. And this is all of the characters. Once the cop calls them they suddenly get the survival instincts of the slutty cheerleader and her black boyfriend in a slasher movie. The cops are hella sloppy about what they do, leaving evidence everywhere. If anybody had 2 brain cells to rub together no amount of corruption could save them. These are guys who sexually assault a teacher in broad daylight in front of a dozen students equipped with camera phones and everybody goes "gee, nobody would ever believe us that these cops are abusing their authority." They also text and email kids constantly. At one point the MC hires a lawyer and won't even the the lawyer that the cop who arrested him is blackmailing almost everybody in his social circle.

Probably the worst part of the story is when the bastard cops bust out their Red Pill philosophy monologues and the MC basically just nods his head going "that makes a lot of sense". At one point they show his mom giving "enthusiastic" sex and he completely forgets that she came back from the experience a total emotional wreck because obviously she was being blackmailed.

Gameplay: Almost pure VN. There are only two choices in the game:
What to name yourself and one near the end that leads to two completely different story branches. It is kind of strange, I expected one choice to "bad end" pretty quickly, but it seems like the developers are fine with giving themselves double the work for each release. You don't even get the option to skip sex scenes.

Sex content: A bit sparse. Your girlfriend has some rather extreme hangups, especially for a porno game. The MC is too much of a boy scout to cheat on her unless the other person is literally in danger if they don't do sex on him. It's not terribly sexy IMHO, and the burn is very very slow.

Graphics: Adequate. They aren't going to win awards but there's no major issues either. The backgrounds are perfectly serviceable and the characters are realistically proportioned and competently executed. There are a handful of nice long animations that look good, although the dev should probably avoid trying to enable physics on cloth surfaces in the future. His engine is just not up to the task.

Conclusion: I appreciate games that break the mold. I like that there is no stupid grind, no annoying sandbox mode, no horrible grammar errors, and the story flows naturally along. The only reasons I'm not going a full 5 stars is the MC made me smash my head on the desk a couple too many times because he and all of his friends are such blithering dumbasses. Also, it's a little light on sex content for a pornogame.

Pros:
- The game has a great story, you are really interested in knowing what will happen.
- The graphic is very good, the female characters are hot (MC's mother and girlfriend my god).
- The game's sound matches the suspense in the story
- It is easily in the top 5 of the NTR Genre

Dev sometimes takes a while to release a new update and doesn't like to give the approximate date when it will be released

This VN is one of very few that made me really immersed in its story, there were even moments where i was nearly drop a tear even, writing is just perfect. So much going on especially for a kinetic novel and its has a good enough length too. I think being NTR+Kinetic novel isnt the best earners in VN department as i can see in dev's patreon page sadly... There's also music going on to help deliver things easily. Models are great but some of them arent original.

I don't leave comments or reviews or whatever on my games (even on Milfy City and that game is just a masterpiece), but FF&F is an exception to that.

It takes time to get into it, but the story is just magnificent. The devs obviously put a lot of effort into making the story engaging to the readers -- FUCK BILL! But damn that guy is a good villain. Melissa is such a hottie especially when she played THAT role. Can't wait for the next chapter. I just REALLY love this story.

Amazing storyline that really plays with your emotions, as Parker (MC) evolves in response to the game events – some of which you’ll never see coming.

I’m a big fan of the original story that inspired this by George VI on Literotica, but hadn’t come across johnccb’s version, which took it in entirely new directions. This isn’t faithful to that script, but has improved on it in many ways. No idea how this story is going to end, because Rich keeps throwing curve balls that will leave many of us with a love-hate relationship towards Parker. I can confidently state that early reviewers panning chapter 2 as unrealistic have clearly never visited Literotica, where johnccb’s work would be rated in the upper strata for credibility.

Rendering and animations are excellent for a first time developer, with special mention going to Denise Collins’ bouncing boobies for the pool scene. Fantastic coordination of animation and music! No bugs and very few grammar errors spotted. I have the advantage of only encountering this story recently, so I haven’t had to wait through development over the last 2 years, which is definitely upsetting others. Great works take time to perfect, but we’ll see if I feel the same way in another year or two. In the meantime, I’m content to sit back and enjoy the ride.

It had a solid first act then JUMPED THE SHARK with the public molestation by the cops. I kinda don't have faith that the writer has an inkling of how to write realistic scenes now.

The graphics are solid and the dialogue is decent. The models are good. The writing is -- freakin all over the place. Its weird that this kind of nonsense makes it into an otherwise solid outing.

Finally some well written story game, straight to my update's radar.

Great story, a bit rapey though. Good renders, decent animations, the relationship development is waay more realistic than your common "western Nukige" where they just met and fuck right away.

I usually stay away from blackmailing-raping, but this one is acceptable. Be warned though

the story is great provides lots of thrill i love how the characters are developing as the story progress .. the spice of ntr and cheating really improved the story .. the visuals and animations are exellent especially the scene in the police station .. overall a great game that i really enjoyed a lot and can't wait for the next update
