Rainces may not be the greatest writer ever, but he seems more creative and, may I say, "devilishly perverted" than your average VN creator. He can come up with scenarios that, in my opinion, are more interesting than your average porn scenario backed up with ok renders and a (maybe) less than average writing.
There is a reason why an apparently sub-standard VN with out-of-the-box daz models, no animation and terrible release schedule (if you can ever say that...) is so beloved and was not forgotten like hundred others porn VNs. There is something special about Rainces. So, I would not say he is utterly undisposable, but continuing with him would, for sure, increase a lot our chances of coming up with something good.
I myself admit I am not creative enough to come up with interesting scenarios. My initial purpose was solely to remake the scenes to (a) learn DAZ and (b) recreate memorable moments in the higher standard I think they deserve. I have no intention of coming up with elaborate scenarios. At most, I would be willing to create the much needed (in my opinion) side-scenarios (night harassments and voyeur).
It is a shame that for some damnwed reason he is not willing to let people help. I dont think BBS has the potential to be atop dog here (that would need much more rendering power, animations and maybe even voice actresses), but for sure a beloved cult classic in the genre.
