Today I showed this game to my friend and he really liked your work. He sends his congratulations.

Also, since we were bored, we started making a list of possible Semi-Humans you could implement in the future. Some of the ideas made us laugh a lot, haha.
Thank you so much! Tell your friend I appreciate the support! And yourself as well of course <3 I enjoy the back and forth.

Obviously this is not me saying for sure that I'd add these, but here's my thoughts:
  • Arachne
    • I love this monster girl, but a futa version would be tough. Where do you put the uh...
  • Lamias
    • A classic, and dual wielder. Love this one.
  • Gargoyles
    • Very underrepresented I feel. Unfortunately don't know of a way to make it in the small section of Telmari that I have in the current VN.
  • Dwarfs
    • I'm definitely a shortstack enjoyer, but dwarves are usually not my type of shortstack unfortunately.
  • Fairies (with magic to make you small like them so they can enjoy you, hehe)
    • Fairies are tough. I feel like they're just elves with wings, especially if you shrink. Probably low on the list just because I'd rather them as a fun companion than a romanceable option (which nobody would want lol).
  • Monkey Girls
    • I don't know that I've seen many examples of these to be honest. Would need to do some research.
  • Harpies
    • I love harpies, you already know.
  • Bee Girls (time to work on the honey, haha)
    • I love bee girls a lot. Unfortunately a very 'furry' monster girl if you want to do it justice.
  • Cyclopes (poor things, nobody gives them any love because of that big, single eye)
    • I also do not like the single eye. It's very off-putting :(
  • Mermaids
    • I would love to add these, though there's no oceans nearby. Would have to get creative. Big fan of Nami from LoL. Ooo, imagine a freshwater mermaid with patterns like a Koi Fish! Okay, this is definitely possible.
  • Satyrs (they don't get any love either because of those goat legs and eyes)
    • Speaking of LoL, Soraka is one of my absolute favorites for... reasons... I would love to add one of these, though I would most likely not use goat eyes unless I could get a really good design going. The current area I'm working on could definitely support one in fact... hmm... extremely likely.
Honestly these got me thinking. May gen a few things an post them here in a bit.

I really like how these turned out. Gives me a good reference if I ever decide to make some of these into real characters.

I know these aren't futa, but that takes quite a bit of extra effort and I was just doing this for fun/proof of concept. Maybe later if there's interest.

I like those too, especially the mermaid and satyr. The koi pattern and autumn leaves came out great. As for the bee, I really like her little hair clips that look like bee eyes. She's almost cosplaying though, I don't know if she counts enough for some people lol.

Fair point on the gargoyle and spider. If I was actually taking the time to make adjustments I'd probably have the spider's lower half look much different. As for the gargoyle, I was just too focused on it being made of stone lol. Didn't think about it to be honest. Both could definitely use some accessories for color.

That's weird. Do you have a save file I could take a look at? Not sure why that would be behaving differently. Both versions are the same code as far as I remember. I don't think I compiled them at different times.
These are the saves from the itch version, hope you find the issue.

For Arachne, you can have the ovipositor come out from the abdomen, that is if you want to give them a spider abdomen attached to the back of a humanoid spider girl, or like a taur thing with the upper human body and lower spider body. Honestly I'd like to see it for the egg preg stuff, though that could also be done with the mermaid.

As for fairies, I like the idea of them using shrinking magic. Like the fairies themselves wouldn't be futa, but would open the door for like hyper penetration and stuff.

Overall really good ideas. Expect the Cyclopes. Just look at Leela from Futurama, they can be hot.

Amazing! You've really thought through the designs. Perhaps the Arachne and the Gargoyle are the only ones I didn't like.
But the Bee, the Mermaid, and the Satyr turned out fantastic! I hope you can find a place for them in the game soon :giggle:

Regarding your question about where to put the...ahem, the "pregnant thing" of the Arachnes. There's a really good manga called "Creature Girls: A Hands-On Field Journal in Another World."
This manga explains that both Arachnes and Centaurs have two holes, one for "fun" and the other for mating. If we apply futa concepts, then in the case of the Arachnes, their "thing" can be either in the front or the back of their enormous abdomen, where they also spin their webs. The rest is just letting your imagination run wild haha

In the case of mermaids, you don't have to be exclusively tied to the idea that they can't exist without water. I remember that in some RPG video games, mermaids were depicted as having the ability to levitate out of water. Of course, they retain their many disadvantages when they leave the water, but in terms of mobility, levitation eliminates that problem.

While researching arachnes, I discovered that there are several types. They're not all the same; they just spin webs, as we often think. There are actually many different kinds. I even discovered that not all of them use venom; some rely solely on brute force.
Some designs with their respective styles:

As far a visuals go, I definitely like spidertaur a lot. I like taurs in general really. Would need to experiment with placing the fun stuff.

As for eggnancy stuff, I personally like it, but most of the depictions of it go too far for me. Like the eggs are massive and the stomach bulge is also massive. Just seems more painful than anything, but I also don't think birth content is particularly sexually attractive. Just a normal, painful process to me. Also no anal pregnancy or anal in general. Just not my thing. I'm a vaginal impreg supremist lol. Very singular in my adult content tastes for some reason.

Not sure how I feel on the mermaid eggs, but it does make sense considering they're fish. Something to keep in mind.

As for fairies, I like the idea of them using shrinking magic. Like the fairies themselves wouldn't be futa, but would open the door for like hyper penetration and stuff.
I'm very iffy on anything hyper, though in this case it's more size difference than anything. As long as everyone's proportions are reasonable it's okay. Definitely on the bottom of any list for me though. Just not into the idea threading the needle on a little fairy. If they were included and romanceable they'd have to shrink you. Could make for interesting visuals at that POV. Could also do a little tease where they shrink you slightly too small. Again, nothing crazy though.

I mean, true, but she'd be hot with two eyes. Just not my thing, at least right now.

Interesting take, I'll have to experiment at some point. Definitely leaning on the back one. Probably retracting kinda like a stinger.

That's true, but I like the idea of them being stuck in water. Like they need to give you oxygen periodically and you're kind of at their mercy since it's their territory. Adds to the otherworldliness of it.

Unfortunately may be very tough for me to figure out. I can't reproduce it on my end. Going through Synthia's normal scene unlocks it just fine for me on itch. Only thing I can think is to make sure you get her normal scene, the one where you have to decline kissing her 5 times.

It's always impressive to see what people can do with AI beyond just "Here's a hyper-realistic glossy image of a big tiddy goth girl with 7 fingers". Before I started delving into the world of AI outputs and making my own game, I thought the space was kind of braindead, but the sheer amount of work and countless hours it takes to make something decent is often overlooked.

Anywho, all that to say that this is extremely well done and I envy your level of skill and dedication. If the "ai cg" tag was removed entirely I'd be none the wiser.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I definitely agree with that statement. Most AI stuff it just a completely unedited image plucked from a batch of a hundred. Real art takes days or weeks to create. Similarly, AI images take hours, but most people spend seconds. The most recent character I did, Willow, took me probably ~8 hours total with all the different clothing and expressions.

I dislike how LLMs were sourced, but there's no going back now. AI in its current state is just a tool, and anyone who uses it properly speeds up their workflow tremendously. If I were an actual artist, I would still use it and I'd be unstoppable lol. There's so many things I just can't quite do yet because I'm not an artist and can't draw. I'd be so much faster. I'll get there though. I've gotten a lot better from just this project.

Anyway, I'm rambling. I took a look at your stuff and I gotta say I really love the pixely aesthetic. What'd you use for it if you don't mind?

I'm discovering that this process is a series of rabbit holes. I look at my earlier work and it makes me cringe with how bad the quality is, then I look at my current work and cringe at how far I have to go lol.

The pixel aesthetic is a mixture of an illustrious checkpoint with prompts for pixelation and dithering, combined with high def art LoRAs, upscaled 2x with an anime RCAN, then resized back to something normal. Each character I use has their own LoRA, but NPCs only use the pixel checkpoint because making LoRAs is very time consuming.

So it's High-Def Anime Illustrious -> 2x Upscale -> Resize -> Train LoRA (~60 images, ~1500 steps) -> Pixel Illustrious -> Load LoRA -> 2x Upscale -> Resize -> Repeat from Pixel Step.

I don't even vaguely know what I'm doing so I can guarantee that my process is suboptimal. I only recently learned how to display previews in a ComfyUI workflow so I can immediately stop the workflow after 10 seconds when the preview looks like shit instead of waiting the full 2 minutes, which has been an absolute game changer.

90% of my consistency-related issues could be solved by img2img workflows, but the pixel style is so insanely delicate that it implodes the second I trying to run it through any kind of enhancement. Kind of shot myself in the foot there.

Mouse girls are also under-represented
I wish I could freeze time and just make monster girls all day. There's so many cool ideas that keep coming up but there's literally just not enough time to do all of it. I forget how many good ones there are and how many I like. Mouse girls are very high on my list.

Ah, damn that is a ton of stuff. My experience with LoRA's is that they cause too many artifacting issues to be worth it. Like you need a perfectly crafted one in order for it to not burn the image. Then when you remove it you find it was injecting a slight amount of output bias so now you can never get the same output consistency. I try to stay away if possible. Very cool if you're just genning a few images here and there, but not if you wanna make a full set of vastly different images.

Yeah that's pretty much where I'm at. My most recent Character LoRAs seem perfectly fine, but I just finished re-training one of my OG characters because it kept trying to put little sheep familiars everywhere. Fortunately, the style drift works in my favor, since I'm aiming for "hi-def pixels", but that's the same reason I can't really use most concept LoRAs. Like I was trying to use a "twisted breast paizuri" LoRA for one of my scenes, but the style influence was so strong, even at a clip strength of 0, that I had to scrap it. Many such cases.
