is there a reason why I cant access griff's shop or access the brothel? is it just bugged? what are the triggers for these? im past the point in other runs where I unlocked both but neither has been accessible.

Yes but that doesnt mean much. I have seen some people talking about how this game is not really finished and I have already played other games tagged as "completed" that were, indeed, not completed. I just dont want to keep grinding for content that doesnt exist
IIRC, the dev said he wasn't going to do any more work on it and, looking at the first post here, the last update was in January 2021, so I think you can be pretty sure that the game is as completed as it's ever going to be. That said, that doesn't mean that there might not be some loose ends in the game that the dev never tied up.

Is the final quest on the game?
I got everyone to max love and corruption and now I (think) the only remaining thing would be the ball which (apparently) isnt in the game

The ball is in the game, this text is placeholder text for an earlier version which wasn't removed.
From what I can remember you can play from start to finish. In few places there is "content will be in next update", or something like that. There is also cases of you when you are doing X, characters A, B, and C have scenes, but D doesn't. There are also dialogues in the code that you can't reach when playing the game (not sure if any Cg is hidden this way). In the end it's what I would call "finished, but incomplete".
so on day 15 when i have send the princess to work and i go to the fountain the game goes back to main screen. also the elf costume on mary is broken in the dance.
wonder why they dont want us to do it. the outcome was positive

I went one by one through the mac links and each one not having anything made my hopes die but I'm glad the last link worked, I wanted to replay this
I remember this game I wish they remake it and add more content.
how come this game has 4,5 stars here is beyond me

Because it started strong, the art is kind of better than 80% of similar games here, and it kind of fumbled towards the very end.
