I don't think thats the worry. The worry is that Chapter 3 was suppose to come out October/November yet we are 6 months later and haven't actually gotten any updates about it yet we have gotten updates for various other things some of which the majority do not care about(the gacha mechanic, and comics). Hell we got an update to that update that caused a reset and tried to stop people from completing it so easily. Chapter 3 was stated to basically be done outside of minor things come November yet why has it not received any updates. It doesn't take 6 months to fix something. My guess is that it was never close to release and based on everything else and how small the team is it keeps getting pushed to the wayside to do these other updates.

As long as the team actually keeps pushing content out, I'm willing to chalk it up to very poor management. Can't expect every dev team to work flawlessly, I suppose. As always, communication is a mainstay issue with a lot of games, wouldn't hurt to get some dev logs, some info, teasers, anything.
Right now, my BEST guess as to why chapter 3 is taking so long is that they're probably trying to get a headstart on 4 as well, or release both at the same time to apologise for the wait, but that's probably now taking so long with them wanting to keep it a surprise/secret that it LOOKS like nothing's happening anymore. This is a VERY optimistic guess though, and just 100% speculation. Cant blame a guy for dreaming though.

And as SP148 said communication is a real bottleneck right now. There was a time when Max at least gave, let's call it, "more valuable" information on a nearly weekly basis. which has reached snails pace after the last arcade update in february. In the situation we're in right now, we must hope to get "any" information in one month, despite questions being asked occasionally.
This is the most recent news and it basically just tells us what we all already knew, for the most part at least. With the exception that we are back to the cinematics and minigames again. Which wouldn't bother me so much if they wouldn't have said on 11.Jan.2025 that they "...are working on one of the final cinematics..." and that "...there is a minigame that is taking a bit longer than expected.". Another option for them would be to explain in a short post why there are delays, what went wrong, or why they still have to do so much now when they said they are this close for the release.
There is nothing in the other channels from the devs either so yeah. Their plan to finish the whole game (they probably meant story mode) this year won't work as intended if this goes on like this.

This could be either the easiest job i've ever done, or the hardest if they don't give me anything to work with... on second thought wouldn't change that much if i look at how i try to get around right now then. It's a funny thought nonetheless.

32 new cards - Waste of time.
Changes made to Slut Machine - Already know my stance on this, but if you don't; Waste of damn time.
4 new guard outfits - No new scene attached, waste of time. Remember this is a 1st person game.
6 guard hats - See above.
More customizations - Same opinion of the 6 new animatronics skins.
In story mode, cinematics and minigames are still in development - Man, what would have happened if the time spent on the first 6 items was spent here.
Improvements to the girls' AI - Now THIS is something worth working on outside the story! Well done everyone, well done!
Comics 7 and 8 - ....... *sigh* whatever. People seem to enjoy them so I'll call it a neutral.
Rather than a PR person, they really need a work manager. Like a middle aged woman with a ruler to smack their hands whenever intrusive thoughts to meme start to take over. Frumi, ever see the movie Ms. Doubtfire?
They genuinely need a Tasque Manager, knowing this game she'd probably fit the theme lmao.

This is an enemy from the game Deltarune, her names "Tasque Manager". The model was made by Cryptiacurves like the animatronic models for this game which is why I brought her up specifically.

I think the proportions aren't the same as the girls for this model so at best you would get here as a reskin for like Fexa.

Honestly no, even though i know and love quite a few films from this actor it seems i've missed that one.
But it's never to late to catch up with such things, and so i did today. Damn i have to say, a pretty good film. Didn't expect less.
I have no doubt now that Fatal Fire studios would indeed benefit if they had a Ms. Doubtfire in their ranks.
And dayum that Tasque Manager looks great, has lots of good fanart too. Wouldn't mind to see her 3D model i a game in the future ngl. Deltarune and undertale didn't quite got me to play them as of today, depite the good story they seem to have.

Ironically, Deltarune is on track to get chapter 3 and 4 somewhere around june. Think we'll get our chapters before or after then?
