In my opinion you are right to some degree, but also wrong in some points.
Yes, DM may have stretched the plot in the past, but only due to demand of the patreons.
The last updates are actually quite focussed on progressing the different paths.
We are back on track.
In generell the more choices you have in a game, the better. So of course the many paths have to been updated.
The problem is, that some paths shouldn´t only be reachable after some decisions and social downgrades.
For example: The street hooker path would be much more believable, if it comes with a downgrade from the escort service.
This outcome should be one of the worst case scenarios for Monica.
We all know why DM put it in the game so early. The problem is the patreon based model, that relies on the constant support of the patreons. So developers putting not always content in their games, that is benefical for the story, but generating support.
If erotic or porn games would be more accepted, it would be easier for developers to use the bigger platforms and generating are more solid income. This would lead to an much more independent development cycle and in the end to a better game

Personally, I want to see a decent Monica (not a bitch) in the distant final game, managing to keep her personality, not broken and getting her old life back. DecentMonkey's art style is honestly amazing, such high quality. The only problem is his sexual taste. I don't like how Monica never wears underwear, like why she always full commando. I also think the degradation scene comes to easily. could use some better writing to make it seem more plausible.

But then her world falls apart, and she has to swallow her pride and get a taste of what it's like to be at the bottom. That was exciting, because Monica had to debase herself.
All that doesn't matter anymore, because the game has dragged on too long. It doesn't matter how many more humiliations Monica suffers, because she no longer has dignity.
I loved this game, even when it was made in RPG Maker and the only sex scene was the blowjob Monica had to give Fred at the end.
