Can anyone answer me a quick question, or questions ?

1. Is the shitty Marcus path "mandatory" for the revenge path to start ? Meaning do I have to go visit the jail once again as Melanie suggested and have Monica get pee'd on, just to start the revenge path ?

2. Is the revenge path where she will once again rise to power and hopefully destroy Marcus, and the rest of the shitty people, or is it revenge against Bardie and his Stepmom only ?

If you want to enter into a discussion with someone, then you need to start with something like this. And not with accusations of stupidity and incompetence.

In my opinion, it's not correct to judge by IQ only. There is also something like "social IQ".
And the last one is much more important for the same CEO, whose work you like to talk about

Obviously, Monica could solve most of her problems by just visiting the rich club and meet some rich guy.
But it means she must obey him and acknowledge his supremacy.

Monica is far from a fool, but her extreme emotionality prevents her from making the right decisions. And she loved by many because of that

Her peculiarity is that she cannot accept a relationship with a man other than with her dominance.
She may have forced sex, but internally she does not accept it.

The player affects her perception and Monica may change over time or not

This game is about emotions. And these emotions deeply affected you

IQ, EQ, SQ:
People who make it into CEO positions tend to have higher SQ and lower EQ. They can communicate and work with others well just don't always related as well. It's why you find a lot of sociopaths in those positions. They are great at manipulating and using others and so on and tend to have an emotional disconnect.

That's part of why I am saying your portrayal of her is wrong. If she was the way you are portraying her in EP2 corporate world would have eaten her alive.

You are correct I could have started the conversation better. I think though I got more irritated as people blindly attempted to defend the issue with stupid reasoning such as it's fantasy...

You didn't describe her relationship with her husband this way, "Her peculiarity is that she cannot accept a relationship with a man other than with her dominance. She may have forced sex, but internally she does not accept it."

Victim vs Villain
None of what you said addresses the issue of you making her more into a Victim rather than a villain we want to watch fall down. Truthfully the Villain in the comedy the Villain is more Villainous than she is in EP2.

Yes, it is necessary. It's the only path to EP2.
No, she doesn't get revenge not unless the author builds an added path in later. It's supposed to be a story of her downfall.
But it plays more like a story of victimization. I say that because she becomes nothing more than a victim in EP2 to everyone else that wants a piece of her.

You can get to EP2 by only doing one bad/mean thing and she will still be labeled a decent girl. when it comes to her temperament.

She doesn't act in a manor in EP2 where you actually want to see her fail either. Like I said above it's just other people victimizing her.

You don't like this game, that's fine. I have no problems with it. As I always say, "Different folks, different strokes." Ten people may like ten different things. You don't have to like this game. There were games I started out liking, but for various reasons, I ended up quitting on, although mainly because I didn't like the direction the story was headed. What did I do? I simply stopped visiting those threads and playing those games. Deleted from my system, too, just like you deleted this game from yours.

This developer's not going to retrace his steps for you. He's not going to communicate with you in private and say, "Alright, how do we do this?" and rewrite the entire game while you dictate the story. So, I fail to understand what your sticking around in this thread and constantly ranting and raving about how shitty and illogical this game is is going to achieve. We get it. You don't like the game. You've made that clear about a gazillion times already. So, could you, please, see yourself out? Every time I visit this thread, hoping for a spoiler or an update on the game, all I see is long, long lines of rants and raves from you. It's getting super annoying, to be frank.

If I thought this developer wouldn't listen at all I wouldn't even bothered posting.
He has responded and entered in the conversation.

He might not make any changes that's up to him.
Doing so wouldn't require making changes to his artwork though.
That said making a few changes in the dialog would open up a lot more options for him.
It would also mean Monica wouldn't just be a Victim in EP2 but could be made into the character you want to see fail where at the end of it you go yea she got what was coming her.

Also do you give advice to people you want to see fail?

As to your first comment, some people know how to multitask. I sleep about 4 to 5 hours a day. I generally eat in my office and so on unless I have a meeting... I'm also not sitting on a fortune 500 company either. The one's I know personally that do are more busy than I am often.

I love the game, but it's a tad buggy. For Ep2 I used Unren just so I could scroll backwards and it totally crapped out the game. I also tried to save the game at the stage area (which I had done previously) but when I went to reload it, it to me to a point several days in the past.

Other times, I have tried rolling back and it shoots me back to her room. I ended up deleting everything, no Unren and starting over. So far it's stable... I am not sure what you are doing for Rollback to cause such chaos, but that is a pretty basic feature of Ren'py.

Anything you can do would be appreciated.

V09 was released in the beginning of this month, so, v10 will take some time to be finished. Calculate with end of January, beginning of February. It will contain again a ton of new renders, new story and (as the dev told us in his poll at patreon) the beginning of the hotel escort path. I don't want to give more spoilers now, it's still too early.

1. You need to do the Marcus path to start the revenge story line, yes. Marcus will "give" Monica an anal plug, this is the key item to start this path. But if you do so, make a save file before, because when you start the revenge path, all others options are closed.
2. The revenge path is set up to take a completely different branch, that's why all others paths are closed in it. Anyway, it's not a short path (so the plan). Monica will need some time here. The intention is to gain (nearly) everything back here. But this path only started in v09, so there is a lot to come in future updates.

I wonder why Revenge Path is so important. If Monica is upset about this path, I won't play it. I don't want to play another Marcus case. Because Marcus treats Monica badly.
