UPDATE: After thinking for a while, I decided to use a cool voice for the narrator (you can see the sound preview from the narrator in the attachment). I do this because I always want to make my game feels alive and I think by providing this voice, my game will feel a little bit alive. I use AI voice and edit it with Audacity to give some emotion to it. Right now, I'm still tweaking the game's script and I see tons of improvements should be made.

The two main problems with my previous game's script are that it was too short and the main character looked like a "whore". Right now I'm in the process of fixing those two problems. Currently, the game's script has 13k words(including all the code from renpy) and I'm still increasing it. The main character also feels more natural and realistic now, but a lot of improvement should still be made.

I hate to say this but editing the game's script and the narrator's voice will take a lot more time than I already planned before. So my game will be delayed, 20th August at the latest. I hope you guys understand my decision, I do this because I want to give my best to my game as well as to my future supporters

It's a cool idea with a narrating voice but also a very risky move and way more time consuming in development.
You have to consider the people that dislike voiced narration.

So you should answer yourself the following questions first:

Does it actually fit the whole theme?
Do people even enjoy if someone reads the novel for them instead of themselves?
Do I force the voiced narration to be always on or do I give an option to turn it off?
If so, how many of my players will actually use it?
Is it actually worth to make all the extra work just to find out some players or even the majority will turn it off?
How much will my game increase in size ontop of all the renders?

As I said it's a bit risky because people usually click in order to progress.
Yes they can put it on auto, but from my experience most people will want to read at their own pace and not have someone force them to move on. This counts for the auto feature and for when the narrator reads faster or slower as the player.

(Also I think most people have at least heard or played The Witcher and they might have a hard time immersing themselves if Geralts raspy voice moans into their ears :ROFLMAO:.)

In the end it's your game and you should feel free to put in whatever you want.

But being too ambitious can slow you down or make you feel overwhelmed pretty quickly.
I could also be completely wrong with what I said, but this is my opinion.

Thanks for your feedback!:D People who don't like voiced narration can always turn it off of course. One of the main reasons I decided to use voiced narration because originally, I want to create "game with porn" instead of "porn game" (but still there will be a lot of sexy scenes of course) and I think the voiced narration will fit perfectly with my theme of the game. But you are right, there will be some sexy scenes that the narrator's voice would not fit. But I think it depends on how I write my script. Of course I will not put Geralt's raspy voice moans in my game:ROFLMAO:

I have thought about that too. But for me, my main priority to create a game is not just for my supporters but for myself too! I found my passion by creating this game so I don't really mind putting more hard work into my game as long as I enjoy it too!
Even though someday my game will fall horribly, I will still enjoy every moment of it because I do all the work with passion. And maybe the majority of my supporters in the future don't like the voiced narrators but it will be unfair to penalize people who like voiced narrators just because the majority don't like it. It's like I will not create the text script of my game just because the majority of people just want to see only the images and skip all of the text.

As I said it's a bit risky because people usually click in order to progress.
Even though I am using voiced narration, I will still use "click in order to progress" mechanic. And the voiced narrations will not take up much space.

In the end it's your game and you should feel free to put in whatever you want.

Yea, I will appreciate all the feedback but in the end, I'm the one who will decide what's the best for my game. As for right now, I think using voiced narration would be the best. Once again thanks for your feedback!
