It's not like the cheating path couldn't also eventually branch off into revenge - as in revenge for getting cheated on/NTRd - the MC certainly has those fantasies. Never quite understood what you were supposed to be avenging yourself of in the "revenge" path since you hadn't been NTRd, hadn't been done truly dirty. Revenge against pieces of shit who disrespected you? That's hardly related to sex. Stuff that happened in the past with MC's mother that was entirely skippable?
I ended up on the revenge path on my first/blind playthrough because I played it loyal and protective - the way NTR is supposed to hurt the most when you try your hardest to avoid it.
