Actually e4gl3w1ngs is the back button. The other one from Charona 's codes that says does nothing actually triggers an achievement ans says investor so it has something to do with the school upgrades maybe? not sure yet.

when you download and open the game and go to load a save your save from the previous version should be there or you could open the previous version go to load or save and choose save to disk to back up your save then on the new version choose load from disk

Either use the 'save to disk' option in the save menu, or make sure your browser doesn't clear cookies/temp files when you close the browser.
