As someone who does suffer from mental illness, I politely ask not to be thrown under the same bus as Crush.

At least I would be punctual to be pushed in front of said bus, whereas he would obviously miss the tossing. Instead he would probably ask people to send him money, so he could rent a second bus in 6 months time while he'd keep working full time on a plan and all sorts of graphical sketches as to how exactly he offers to be thrown. He would offer multiple choices of throwing, pushing and tossing, while the end result would remain the same. Being crushed by a bus. However, he would probably also request a bit of extra funding and more time to hire someone who could not only create several special attires and makeup for him to wear, but also that someone could paint the bus! Even more choices for all the tossers!
Don't forget the time it takes to repair and upgrade the bus, converting it into a mechanical or automatic bus, or making the entire route from when it was a tricycle, etc., and he would change the route several times to pick up more people.

Crush: "I finally finished writing!!!"
:love::oops::)
Crush: "However while finishing I found a problem which means I will have to edit the entire thing again"
:eek::cautious::rolleyes:

He did say that the editing will be done in paralel to the artwork production so it technically shouldn't slow down the supposed release, but he also said in November that the entire thing was ready and just waiting for the new artwork so meanwhile he would work on improving the sex scenes, so basically we are right back to where we were 6 months ago.

Different week, same crush
Yeah, but like Spinal Tap he cranked the nonsense up to 11 this time. In just one Patreon post, we got:
  1. Not one, but four pics of random girls to distract attention!
  2. A huge completely blurred image from an unnamed planning document to prove seriousness
  3. Meaningless introspection about how things need to be more "fun" and "hot"
  4. Pretentious blubbering about literary themes with big words to prove intelligence (it's not porn! it's a deconstruction of commodification and objectification!)
  5. A fake breakthrough to some vague "problem" that has slowed things down for years
  6. The return of the "Art" excuse (every hair strand is hand-drawn!)
  7. Name dropping the game engine (one copy pasta mistake and it blows like nitro!)
  8. The return of the editing excuse (the words shall be sifted until maximum hotness is achieved!)
While I'm bummed we didn't get some made up sexual fantasy from the distant past, this was still a tour de force of prevarication and a great roadmap for future procrastination. Meanwhile, we are roughly two weeks away from an abandoned tag on Female Agent, so all I can say is keep going Crush, you've earned it!

I'm pretty sure the blurred image is taken in Photoshop. Which really makes me wonder, is he using Photoshop to draw out his master plan? Does he not know of any of the thousands of flowchart tools available? Did he just fake it and Photoshop was the only thing he knew?

Kate looking a bit anorexic in her lifepath photos. We need a few months of story now to explain how she beat that.

I've been trying to mod the old version of the game to create something new and holy shit the amount of passages not connected to anything and so much messed up code that confuses the shit out of me. No wonder this dev cant get anything done. He/She just keeps rewriting the same complex code over and over again.
Imagine if the dev kept working on the Original version of the game and just kept adding more events? We would be so far into the story.

Over a month of "reports" later, so I asked ChatGPT to analyse Crush's patterns, here's what it said:

The game developer’s updates show some patterns that make it hard to know exactly what is happening with the game. Here are the main ways they might be avoiding clear answers:

  1. No Clear Deadlines: The developer doesn’t give exact dates or times for when things will be finished. They say things like “I’ll work on it tomorrow” instead of saying exactly when something will be done.
  2. Excuses: The developer often says they’re too tired or have been working too much. This makes it seem like the delays are because of their personal feelings, rather than the work not being done.
  3. Vague Feedback: The developer talks about what testers say but doesn't give specific details. For example, they mention that some testers liked something but don’t explain exactly what the testers liked or didn’t like.
  4. Not Taking Responsibility: The developer says they can’t please everyone and only wants to write the story they want, even if others want something different. This stops them from addressing what users want.
  5. Over-Apologizing: They say sorry for delays a lot, but they don’t explain what they will do differently or when things will get done.
How to Spot These:

  • Look for when they don’t give exact dates or details.
  • Notice if they keep blaming tiredness or working too much.
  • Watch for when they talk about feedback without giving clear examples.
  • See if they say they can’t make everyone happy without explaining how they’ll meet everyone’s needs.
How to Respond:

  • Ask for specific dates and clear answers.
  • Suggest finding a way to manage work better to avoid constant delays.
  • Ask for detailed feedback from testers to know what’s really working and what’s not.
  • Encourage them to produce a clear plan which incorporates both their own ideas and what users want.
Let's see if Patreons wise up? If not, I fear AI will evolve a replacement for HTML before the next update drops.
Because his cult Patreons keeps sending monthly tithes without holding him accountable at all. Even his updates are intentionally curiously opaque with meaningless numbers across each. (i.e. today I rewrote 5k words story, last week I rewrote 5k lines of code).

Dude, if you ran a spell check on a document and added a comma, that's not a rewrite. Additional content count only please, else there's no point making 1710385 reports about the 9385 new features that will nobody can see in the released version. He really ought to be a crypto bro, I see great potential in Crush.

crab crab crap! If you don't like his progress just don't waste your money.
I doubt very many people in this thread are wasting money on this game. I could be wrong tho.

Also "progress" probably isn't the best word to use when discussing FA. The development feels more like a Groundhog Day situation to the point where Crush should add "I Got You Babe" to the soundtrack (if FA had a soundtrack, which it doesn't).

Sometimes it bears repeating that the people who are doing the complaining are trying to warn newcomers away from giving a lying, scamming bastard their money. Of course if someone chooses to do just that, then that's their right. But never let it be said that we here have not done our best to put up warning signs.

An official warning sign should finally be put up here, declaring the game to be abandoned.

Better yet, a new warning: instead of "abandoned," write "rip-off."

18 months since the last update. It's been a constant "I'm working hard, but I'm too weak to finish it." Wasting money here was my biggest mistake in my Patreon history.
And I last paid almost five years ago.
