I can see the next update:

I rewrote the discord access rules and they are hot. Joining the discord is now reserved to $1 supporters. This grands access to the community rules subchannel. Joining any of the other subchannels is reserved to $5 supporters and up, granting reading privileges. $10+ supporters can also write in specific channels.

I could see this catch with a lot of patreons.

There's no way not to casue disappointment after that long of a hiatus even if he makes the masterpiece of the erotic literature. So it's a lost cause.
Have patience my friend. Crush is an ambicious developer, he only wants the best for his game. I believe this game will become the Baldur's Gate 3 of the erotica, kinda like the normal BG3 but without fucking bears, so give him time! BG3 lasted 7 years of development and turned out excelent.

This game started being delevoped at 2017 only! Have patience, you can't rush creativity.

To be fair, there have also been a number of years of not knowing the status of a potential BG3, back in the early 2000s, when Interplay had to scrap the game at like 90% of development. Maybe Crush did work on that before FA :D

It's pretty hilarious how a majority of posters on his Discord these days are openly mocking him. I'm not saying that constitutes a majority of his Discord members (it certainly does not) but his normal vociferous supporters are pretty quiet these days.
that is because it is extremely hard to continue to show support when it's back and forth, lets add this no lets remove this no lets readd it but refine it, now lets put it back the way it was , oh now lets change engines , no wonder his supporters are being silent

The worst thing is simply that Crush (and others like him) immediately casts other developers with Patreon links in a bad light with this policy and the rip-off via Patreon and other platforms.
Yet there are certainly other developers out there.
For example, I've been a supporter of another developer since 07.24, paying €8 per major update. He only has three tiers: €1, €4, and €8. So far, I haven't received a single charge, even though there are monthly updates, it's a Unity 3D game, and the developer maintains close contact with the community.
I even wanted to make a one-time payment as a Christmas present, but it was rejected. People like this aren't mentioned enough and suffer from the behavior of Crush and his ilk.

It's very hard to defend the progress the dev is making when there hasn't been an update for a year and a half. In another year or so, when he finally releases something called a lifepath, they'll be back to sucking his dick and telling him that William Shakespeare wasn't fit to dust his keyboard and Shiguru Miyamoto is such a hack designer that he shouldn't even be allowed to play Chrush's game.

Crush claims to be done coding for the new Lifepath and that now we're waiting on the art. Of course once the art is in, he'll do a limited playtest with his six playtesters and then take it back to the shop for another nine months to make it hotter. It must be hot, hotter, and hotter still. Too hot is not hot enough. Did a reader's eyeballs burst into flame three words in and their brain evaporate like a monkey on the sun? HOTTER, BITCH!

I think he'll do an update that doesn't update nothing soon, so he doesn't get labeled as abandoned.

The transparency reports have arrived at the point where they tell us even less about progress than the dev diaries used to

Remember, Crush doesn't care about F95, he doesn't even "own" the post anymore (he very openly mentioned he'd leave this place). I don't have any hopes of a release "just to avoid the abandoned tag"

Hmm, it's a shame if this thread goes inactive. It got me about 200 likes. It felt like 50 when I was still supporting and defending the game, and 150 since Crush became such a disappointment.

I thought I explained this. Crush is here under an alias trying to fit in and feel accepted by trashing his own game. The abandoned tag only helps him feel like he belongs somewhere.
