That would be a good watch. Especially where he interviews the 'victims' of the scam. Some of us here would get to feature on that.Honestly it's almost worth this becoming a Coffeezilla investigation now.

I need a few more days to cook.
Meth perhaps?Perhaps FA is just a front, and in reality, he's selling drugs to disguise his revenue.
All good, thanks for letting us knowMonday transparency report
Hey guys! I’m really sorry but I need more time to finish my writing task
I worked on it full time every day since the last report, no days off. I desperately wanted to get it finished, but some things I was trying just didn’t work, so I need a few more days to cook.
I’m sorry I know I’m really slow. I was struggling with some characterisation issues that slowed me down – specifically around Max (the optional love interest in Malaysia), the heroine’s attraction to him, and just the general way he behaves, talks and acts (and, ultimately, fucks). This is related to two of my least favourite things about Female Agent:
Even though I was trying not to, I felt like I was slipping back into this with Max. But on Saturday afternoon, after a lot of what felt like banging my stupid head against the same wall over and over, I had kind of a breakthrough in both these two areas, and the writing is now flowing much, much better.
- Male NPCs (like Max, Connor, Kriangsak, Kolya, Big Mac) all feel kind of samey and interchangeable
- The heroine is always just really passive and kind of a doormat
It’s nearly 9PM, so I’m going to get an early night and get straight back on it tomorrow morning. Apologies again for taking more time on this than intended, I am doing my best but sometimes I have to put in extra hours to make things work. ❤
Sound like poor Crush has to rewrite the entire story, again. So sadMale NPCs (like Max, Connor, Kriangsak, Kolya, Big Mac) all feel kind of samey and interchangeable
A man will probably have succeeded in giving me pleasure when the game comes out...
There's actually a really big, and really important difference. This dude is just the piratesoftware of html porn games.
>Both released their games in 2018
>Both games aren't even close to being done and most likely never will be
>Both seem to be up their own ass (first second generation blizzard employee vs multiple comparisons to actual notable writers/artists)
>Both claim the writing is the slowest part even though they supposedly spend hours per day on it so people should be understanding (just don't pay attention to multiple content creators in the same mediums consistently putting out updates)
>Both constantly claim they're super hard at work while raking in money doing nothing
>Both have a dedicated group of ball washers that will defend them to the death while missing the point (If yOu dOnT LiKe iT YoU ShOuLd lEaVe)
>Both games' most notable aspect is the art (personally I think Crush's writing is overrated)
>Both have represented themselves as an animal (ferret vs crab)
>Both give arbitrary metrics to provide the illusion of progress (rando ass spreadsheet vs a graphic with text that wasn't even centered)
>Both can't code for shit (the fuck's a for loop vs an avatar that is still bugged out)
>Both don't know how to listen to anyone but themselves (I am literally never wrong vs let's spend almost 2 years to implement the lifepath instead of advancing the story in any way)
Yes, this is deeply autistic but you can't deny the similarities. I'll give pirate some credit though, he at least shit's out minuscule updates to try and save face. Crush remains constipated. The only value left for both these "creators" is the entertainment in seeing how long they can string along their fans and what excuses they can come up with.

Some points:I mean no dev responds well to criticism, look at you, you think your writing is perfect and is meant to be 10 pages long and you want to cater to your audience who enjoys 10 page novella reads in their games. I was telling you to shorten it, you gave no hint of acknowledging anything and wrote me off as a 'troll' probably especially because i'm not a paying customer anyway. No sign of compromise, or even just admitting in any way shape or form any hint of agreement with any point I made. The end of the day devs make games for themselves, it's not a service job, it's not for us. So the devs don't need to listen and don't want to listen. It's more comfortable to do what they know, than try to adjust and grow.
No, wrong. The end of the day devs make games for themselves, it's not a service job, it's not for us. So the devs don't need to listen and don't want to listen.
It's an age-old argument: what does the creator owe to the audience? Many very successful creators say, "Not a damned thing. This is what I made, take it or leave it." Many equally successful creators say that the whims of the audience must be catered to. It's something that every creator has to judge for themselves and decide how much to compromise their visions. Equally great stuff has been made going both directions. No, wrong.
When you publish and monetize that work, such as via Patreon, you can no longer claim that you made that work just for yourself. It becomes a commercial work where you are soliciting money from a paying audience and you now have a responsibility towards that audience. If you want to be subsidized during the creative process then you have to accept a certain level of accountability. That includes feedback & criticism.
Even people on welfare or the dole have to give updates on what they are doing. You want to make a game just for yourself? You want total freedom? Then don't open a Patreon page.
Like with any other developer, if Crush can't produce or advance his "game", people should stop giving him free money. Because the reality is that Female Agent development is very much a service job and Crush has not been providing that service for a very long time.
Many very successful creators say, "Not a damned thing. This is what I made, take it or leave it."
That's the problem. I can get a product, I may not like it, but I get it. Let's take the books that were used to film Game of Thrones as an example. The last books haven't come out yet, but I haven't bought them, I haven't paid for them, so I may be unhappy with the speed of production of these books, but the author has the right to produce as many as he wants. When you get thousands of dollars on Patreon, the situation is a little different. I don't mind "take it". The problem is that there's nothing to take.In this case, though, what Crush wants is to produce literally nothing and get paid for it.
