That's the problem. I can get a product, I may not like it, but I get it. Let's take the books that were used to film Game of Thrones as an example. The last books haven't come out yet, but I haven't bought them, I haven't paid for them, so I may be unhappy with the speed of production of these books, but the author has the right to produce as many as he wants. When you get thousands of dollars on Patreon, the situation is a little different. I don't mind "take it". The problem is that there's nothing to take.
The second problem is that they are trying to sell me an already written book for the second time.

The main problem is that the things that are advertised for money on Patreon are very much being given

- Discord access is given (although that is free to begin with if you find the old links but anyway)
- The cheat unlocks: They do work, the latest version (2 years ago) has a patreon version with the cheats
- Early access: As far as we know, it does happen, once in a blue moon, but it happens

This isn't really quite like "I bought a car, why are you taking three years to deliver it to my home" unfortunately, which is a well known and punished scam. If the patreon memberships said anything like "Access to monthly beta versions" then he'd be in trouble, but alas, it just says "Access to beta test versions of the game"

This is gotta be the most unintuitive shit ever. Do I really have to fucking email support to delete my account?? There needs to be a button for it in account settings but there isn’t.

It's not dude, it's really, really not. It wasn't for you back in 2017, or 2018, or 2019, or 2020...even until 2023, you were still able to write and release scenes with some semblance of a cadence. New material, even if it was just revamped and improved versions of old content.

I write for a living. It's B2B chemical industry magazine articles, but it's writing. I don't get paid as much as Crush. And sure, there are days when I dick around and do nothing, and days when I'm not feeling it, but you know what I have? Deadlines when my employer and my readership expect me to have produced something. And I damn well produce things. Personally I find the pressure actually improves my writing, but I guess I'd be in a different job otherwise. And there are times when I sweat over things for days and it still comes out mediocre. There are times when I panic and write whatever comes into my brain in a couple of hours and it turns out to be really good. There are times when I churn out workaday copy that's just... ok, but it does the job. But I produce it. I have written porn (not professionally), and I know it's sometimes difficult to find a spark of inspiration, but if I was being paid for it I would find a way through (and in my day job I'd be fired if I didn't). I have approximately zero sympathy for someone who claims to be writing the porn equivalent of The Great Gatsby but can't find the muse when really it's just a Bond knockoff with a heroine who finds herself in touch with her masochistic side. That I could do week in, week out for $60,000/year.

update: couldn't get delete account to show up on mobile, for my pc its just right there. out of curiosity tried to get it to show up a couple times on mobile anyway, cause I figured it was just hidden by ui like a lot of websites are on a phone. Why Crush couldn't finish the entire game, then work on a new updated version of it goes beyond all understanding. How many new versions of the same old game is he going to make before he actually finishes it? Is this a ploy to keep money rolling in? I feel like cancelling my account with him too. Do you want to or will you?
If you're supporting him, stop because he's not performing well. If the update comes sometime around 2027, you can always re-sign up for another month if you or everyone else wants the game right away.
But you have to hit him where it hurts. And if he complains that he can't finish the game because he's running out of income, that's just how it is. But maybe, and even just a tiny little maybe, it will motivate him to finally step on the gas if more and more people withdraw their support.
