Isekai is help back by the poor translation imo but both are worth trying.
Ah thats a shame, thanks for the headsup.

The dev had a new game come out in January that also focuses on mind control and corruption. TBD for when that's translated.
Are you referring to Ultimate Guardian Warrior: Powerful Knuckle [RJ01224555]? Its currently winning the polls in dazedanon discord with 16 votes. Although it'll take some time for the poll to conclude + wolf translation (which is notoriously hard).

I am curious how many of these games use machines (like VR headsets or full on chairs)

I find magic, drugs, and pocket watches to be kinda underwhelming. Some of the better ones for me have been the academy brainwashing in Star Knightess Aura.

Also side bit, but I just can't get into Defenestration. It is so wordy and long-winded and I don't find it funny so all those pages and pages of dialogue for a single lame joke kill any boner despite the otherwise incredible setting and style.

Where is the academy brainwashing? I liked SKA, but it feels like a serious commitment to play it again. I was last in it fall 2021

VR/tech mind control games:

En-Fem-E No. 9: The Factory [Final] [Silk Savannah] (GAY) (eh/10)
Blowjob Monster Amirin (bad end) (good game)
ErisDysnomia / Ayura Crisis (ok)
Dilmur (injection? medicine, not machine)
Suddenly a girl (helmet) (good)
Happy Heart Panic/ Happy Heart Hell F (gay, not great)
Succulence (side bad ending at start, helmet) (decent)
Mission Mermaiden (helmet, not great)
event girl (real porn, screen hypnosis) (unfinished but i like it)
succum brewery (has it, didnt enjoy it, others like it though, helmet)
impetus (vr headset, gay, real porn) (worth 15 minutes imo)
Reimu gets brainwashed (not good/10)

Im going to be 1000% percent honest. I never fully read the games I play. which is weird because I like the slow corruption aspect of it. I skip probably 70% of the text in games and read usually leading up to a scene, during, and shortly after. I can usually get the vibe of whats happening, the general plot and thats enough for me. for Star knightess aura i skipped everything on earth and focused only the aura aspect.

Totally fair. SKA got me hooked with the opening, and I enjoyed the slow fall and that so much of the corruption was unrelated to sex. Not the same with Defenestration. But to each their own right?

What issues did you have with Mission Mermaiden?
Plotless (and mostly conscienceless) side scrollers aren't really doing much with their corruption. You get brainwashed but that doesn't mean anything beyond a brief mechanical change, then it's over. You don't have any plot or substance, it's just porn.

The quality of the gameplay aside, you aren't really dealing with any of the nuance and effects of being corrupted. So it's kinda pointless.

the mod that one guy made solved a lot of this to the point where I forgot how vanilla mermaiden played lol

Please remind me of the name of the game. It's something like Hogwarts, the main villain is something like Draco Malfoy and regularly takes control of the main character and her friend (one of them is red-haired) to do all sorts of interesting things with them. Well, according to the plot, you need to defeat him somehow
