Agreed. And frankly I don't believe maledom would work either. Yes, femdom is an even wider departure from reality, but the truth is that respect should go both ways, and as much as we can try and keep certain things to the bedroom, a loss a respect is natural.
Honestly I feel like fetish stuff should be reserved almost entirely for porn. For me, the appeal of femdom lies mainly in its more destructive/toxic aspects, which aren't something I'd like to see actually play out in real life. The fantasy of a "mommy gf" who's a normie in the streets but a dominatrix in the sheets is just not something that I really buy into.

I mean, it depends entirely on what fetishes you're talking about - some are very doable and I suspect fun to explore in a consensual typical vanilla relationship with a girlfriend that isn't even very dominant (like light foot stuff, body worship, giving cunnilingus in a subservient way etc), but yeah, probably not scat and not plenty of the extreme stuff we bunch can be into as part of a game/story. I've also been to a dominatrix irl once, a mature Japanese one specifically, and tried out many fetishes in a 2-hour session, but tbf it was pretty expensive and at the end of the day i didn't get even nearly as great of an orgasm from it as I do from my favourite porn games or stories. It was nice, but pricey and not out of this world - part of it might've just been me fully conscientising that I was paying for a service, part maybe the novelty of actually doing several of those things irl for the first time, part maybe even the fact I didn't know any of her background or personality (like in a story or game) and was aware she was likely putting on a fake personna, part even the fact that she was wearing a latex suit and that's not a major kink of mine (most likely a combination of all of these), I'm not sure, but for some reason there seem to be plenty of us that don't enjoy the idea of a BDSM session with a dominatrix as much as a good BDSM game!

And also, agreed that definitely all of us have fetishes we very much wouldn't like to try out in real life, and that's perfectly fine! That's what fantasies and fiction exist for after all - to allow one to experience things which they desire to imagine themselves doing, without necessarily wanting to do them in real life. (this even holds for non-erotic fiction, as 99.(9)% of the people who like gangster or pirate movies won't want to actually live a life in which they could die at any moment and where they're stuck for months at sea on a giant wooden raft with 200 people that have the hygiene standards of a boar in heat...)

I am married to a dominant woman and had plenty of relationships with (sexually) dominant women before. Whoever thinks femdom doesn't exist in real life should simply get out more. ;)
How do you tackle the mutual respect aspect? Or is the femdom part only confined to bed stuff?

Of course there is a separation between the sexual and non sexual relationship. In real life she is the boss too, but treats me (mostly ;) ) with respect and love. Sexually it's a real turn on for her though to degrade and use me as she pleases. I never found it a big problem to get these things in "harmony" with each other. Maybe some people just overthink things too much. In my experience most things in a relationship simply naturally evolve anyway.

Nope, for some, that kind of "deviancy" in bed is a rule breaker, and in my experience, everybody is different and has different takes on what they are comfortable with in bed. I had a girlfriend who had dominant tendencies in our day to day relationship but was a total sub in bed and didn't even want to hear about anything femdom. I had a subby girlfriend who was a total freak in bed, and you could do almost anything with her (femdom included) bus she was such a nympho that she ended cheating on me 2 times(I learned about the second time after I left her). Finally, I have my current wife, who was ok with experimenting with femdom, and did it with me for several years (she was quite good at it when she was in the mood for it) but eventually she stated that she felt like it was distancing her from me, so we stopped it almost completely. So, yeah, I think the answer is always that it depends, but there is no harm in asking if the relationship is mature enough.

I write for a submissive mens mental health blog and can confirm categorically that you can have real life relationships which involve Ds and BDSM.

I have a friendwho I met through the kink scene who I sometimes serve and play with.
I went to a pro-session and she and I got on well so now I serve her some times and we have become friends.
Finally I met a Domme at a kink event in Birmingham and we have a semi-romantic friendship and she Dommes me.

Plenty of my fellow subs who read the blog are married and are in FLRs happily and with success.

Its harder to find a FLR but it is possible.

All in all, this "Summer's Gone" game is (at the moment) not Femdom.
There are small points:

That handcuff scene was the reason the game was tagged femdom initially IIRC, but I never thought about it as a femdom scene tbh as it was a revenge prank in a bad taste, not an act triggered by any sexual reasons.

For scat, the way it's done is there are 3 cleanings first, and then they inject/pump in...cake batter. I forgot what it's called for the cleanings, but they basically put warm water in and clear everything out. You can actually get this at certain health specialty services, they also will check the waste for health issues. So actually if you see it in a video it's not actual shit, which again, will make you severely ill and likely kill you. Even then it's very niche, very regulated, and there's still a lot of health checks and concerns.

There is nobody that actually does real scat. It's just not biologically possible.
I’m a little reluctant to carry on given how adamant you appear to be, but in the spirit of friendliness and to counter misinformation and misunderstanding, I’ll make a couple of points and give you one more source in case you’re interested

Your description of how scat porn is created is simply incorrect. Or at best, what you are describing is how fake scat porn may be made (but not in a way I've ever heard about)? Have you got a source for what you’re saying? Have you actually seen most scat porn, specifically F/m scat porn? There’s a good selection on Europrofile, both professional and amateur, and it's pretty clear it isn't fake (you can almost always tell when it is).

I wanted to avoid personal anecdotes in my original reply, as really I could just be making up examples to match my preconceived ideas. This is why I linked two of the best sources for objectively and unequivocally evidencing your discussion to be based on misconceptions and pretty much wrong on all counts. Both mention scat play as a very small but prevalent part of the two BDSM related ranges explored. However, for whatever it’s worth (and as with F/m relationships) I’ve had a pretty good amount of actual real life experience with scat play, and I’m almost certain I’m not dead, nor an example of a biological impossibility. It isn't hard to get access to a BDSM community in real life or online, and there’s really a massive amount of examples to be gotten pretty quickly and easily.

Again, I’m not calling you out or trying to pick a fight, but you seem to be expressing absolutes without much basis in fact or actual examples/experience. I get why you think what you do, it’s pretty ingrained social and biological conditioning right, and something we all have. Even most people with the fetish retain this conditioning, although it changes the more you engage with it. A significant part of BDSM culture is similarly and inescapably created on playing, bending, breaking and subverting these types of conditioning. I’m wondering if this may point to the problem you seem to be having with the idea that people can and do engage with this kink in relative safety (for whatever reason, on this topic you can't get past the conditioning)?

There are of course risks with scat play, and it can very obviously lead to harm and death in the worst case scenario, as can a good number of other BDSM activities (or any number of other popular activities in life). But these risks can be managed and significantly reduced, to the point where they are almost negligible (there’s always going to be the potential for something unforeseen, but that’s life).

Here’s a link to the best reddit community for the fetish, and while there’s a chunk of fantasists posting, there are a large amount of people who engage in this regularly. There is a lot of talk about safety, etc., and is very much worth checking out.

It’s okay to find something disgusting and repulsive, and to keep the view that this kink is dangerous and shouldn’t be done, but don’t let that cloud your critical thinking and reasoning.

**Edited just after first posting as I caught a couple of spelling mistakes – it’s mega early, I’m in a rush so even less likely to make sense than normal!

One of the love interests is also into facesitting. So yeah there is some potential. Would classify the game as light femdom, depending on which love interest you go for.
