I'm not sure, I kept ToT in the poll, cause few people here wrote that there was an update of ToT this year. Some standalone floor (8 or 9) was supposedly released in 2023.


We can try. But as you say not many of us play Japanese games. Heck, I speak Japanese around intermediate lvl, and I don't play them (anymore) Nonetheless, we'll definitely make some changes to the voting formula next year.

Maybe only include at first the ones officially translated to english like this one, more are coming in Steam especially finally Japanese devs are realising that people outside of Japan play their games

No this one is a Visual Novel, only downside scenes are quite long but they are well-written, if you like great Femdom writing with insane CG this is the one to go for

There's always going to be people disagreeing with it. You can't satisfy everyone and there's always going to be flaws. I, for one, enjoyed the event and like the system as it is. I think my vote in sexiest character for Karlsson's Gambit's scarlett got excluded for some reason though. Anyway, it was a fun read. Looking forward to next year's games Mister_M.

Besides a game could get 5 stars from 2 reviews and they'd get near the top because of averaging. Short commentary:​

In this year’s voting we gathered more participants than previously. I am happy to see that, as it means the population of femdom enjoyers grows on this forum, and hopefully also around the world.

The biggest loser of the awards is undoubtedly Tower of Trample that fell from position #3 - giving space to previous #5, The Shadow over Blackmore - all the way down to position #20. Slave U in the meantime lost spot #4 for the previous owner of spot #8 A New Life in Submission, and landed on #14.

Top 2 however remained almost the same. Last year Nothing is Forever won 52-32 with Karlsson’s Gambit; this time Karlsson’s Gambit prevailed and won 56-51, meaning the games were going head-to-head and even 1 vote could change the shape of this year’s final victor. Furthermore Nothing is Forever proved to be quite a well rounded game taking spots either 1 or 2 in all categories it was nominated, and it was nominated in all of them but one, that is for best graphics/design. Karlsson’s Gambit in the meantime took home the award for best narrative, but wasn’t nominated for best scene and only 2 people voted on it in the sexiest characters category, suggesting that this game seduces us more as a whole than with parts it’s made of. Darktoz’s The Shadow over Blackmore fared pretty well throughout, winning in two categories, and being in top 3 in three more, with A New Life in Submission stepping on its toes.

As far as the general landscape of femdom games looked this year I think we can all agree it wasn’t perfect. While 2023 started very encouraging it was mostly marked by small amounts of new games and ideas, and gradually rarer updates of the existing titles. Nonetheless we do have something to look for as Finance Capital proved to be a promising new text based femdom experience, and Femdom Secrets of Kate’s Heart seems to be close to unveiling its first release. Many players also expect much from The Renaissance, another title set in the shared universe with Moving Down and Vicious Circle: Femdom Edition. Another highly anticipated continuation is Reina’s Desire, which while still in very early development turned out to be a popular choice among femdom players. Unfortunately, it seems that the developer of this game met a real life tragedy. If that’s true they’ll be greatly missed, and I’m not writing this only in the femdom games context as - from my talks with them - they seemed a genuinely nice, interesting, kind and full of ideas person.

For the next year I wish all of you many wonderful femdom adventures both in real and virtual lives. Don’t wait, submit yourselves to Dommes before you grow old and tired. And try to work in your neighbourhoods, towns and countries for the betterment of women’s conditions and toward female dominated utopia!

Yay! We have the winners and I'd say the year was overall successful. Next year more of us should vote more on the nominations (it seems a lot of members only voted for the best game, myself included). I've noticed one of the games that was really nice but unfortunately abandoned, was New Life at the University (myself forgot to mention it too).
So, I hope the competition next year will be even harder and it will be even more difficult to select the winners. Looking forward to another great year of femdom gaming and happy holidays everyone!

BTW Last year all the games in the Best Femdom Game Awards together gathered 360 pts, this year: 588.5, meaning that the number of participants grew quite considerably, which is obv reflected by the number of games on the awards list.

I've been working through some femdom labeled games I grabbed the past couple of months, even trying to be selective on confirming femdom there's usually nothing and/or the games are very short. There's just not much content. I don't think it's even exclusively a femdom game problem, although that's by far the worst of it, I think most of the games on here are just scams. 10 minutes of "content" where nothing really happens, and apparently they are getting patreon subs. There's really nothing to lose by it, it's either easy money or just a bit of time to whip up anyway. I know Steam and kickstarter had these issues several years ago, and then had to put in stiffer requirements and refund people. Those same devs probably just migrated over to patreon and aimed at adult games.

As for the femdom games award this year, I didn't vote because I really didn't think there was enough content this year to make a real top 5 list. Even NiF and KG, they were one release this year, and while they're still good, if that was their first/only release I certainly wouldn't have been happy with them. I think we're giving them a legacy award, which, it's not a big deal honestly since the awards mean nothing, but that's how I see it. ANLIS was particularly bad for this, one release snuck in after over a year of nothing.

I have some hopes with MironY and Nikociant adding to the dev pool, but it's far away from an active, viable genre and entertainment source. Now sure I never expected a game a day or a week, and even once a month would be more than I could have hoped for, but as it is, it feels like maybe 5 or 6 releases a year with good content, for total number of hours I don't know that we even cross 10 hours a year. Can I really award a game that has less than 5 hours of content a year? I don't know what a fair minimum is, 5 to me seems fair but maybe some will say it's expecting too much for these games, but what would it be, 4, 3? Even setting to 3 hours I don't think most of the games would have made it this year.

I have very little hope for things to be better on the femdom front for 2024. We might get 2 releases each of NiF and KG since they both appear to be headed for an early 2024 release, and then maybe they'd also do a late 2024, so that's a positive, but that's going to be the bulk of it like usual probably. Since I'm personally not a fan of futa, that seems to also remove most other choices for me. A pure femdom game is rare and they almost all just get abandoned. KG and NiF are actually only partial, and I think both emphasize maledom/vanilla content anyway. It's just the femdom content is more developed than anywhere else. But these other games, if they have femdom and anything else, the femdom just disappears over time and clearly isn't what the dev wants to do. So for the most part I hate seeing femdom+maledom or femdom+futa. I also don't consider sissification femdom at all, it seems like gay content or actually maledom----it makes the idea of feminine inferior, rather than females being superior and deserving of worship or being sexually assertive which is how I look at femdom. If a guy wants to wear panties and be fucked up the ass what does that have to do with women? But I digress, jmo, I'm glad people have the choices and are happy if that's their kink, just not for me.

there's definitely a pattern with slow development amongst femdom games. (ANLIS, Gladia, TOT, Domina, Katalist to a lesser extent.)
But I like to look at it from both sides instead of being overly cynical and accuse everyone of being a scam artist, because statistically, it can't be everybody. yet every dev I follow seems to fall into the same development hell pit.
I think we just have to accept that any decent game will inherently take long to make for a solo developer.
that coupled with the fact that most these games don't even break the 1k salary mark on patreon (less than a Mcdonalds employee salary where I live) creates a vicious cycle of developers choosing to stick to their day job instead of fully committing to their game, leaving them with less time to work on the game, resulting in even less support from the already niche community.

The only game that I know of, that has 2D CG and breaks from this trend is league of domination, which while not bad by any means, its "monthly" updates are miniscule (4-5 new CG and a bunch of re used assets). so really, you're getting slightly more content per year if you do the math.

All in all, I think it's pointless to keep getting frustrated about it at this point and just accept for what it is. it never paid off to get upset over it on the forums as far as I'm aware, and I doubt it'll start now.

I've been working through some femdom labeled games I grabbed the past couple of months, even trying to be selective on confirming femdom there's usually nothing and/or the games are very short. There's just not much content. I don't think it's even exclusively a femdom game problem, although that's by far the worst of it, I think most of the games on here are just scams. 10 minutes of "content" where nothing really happens, and apparently they are getting patreon subs. There's really nothing to lose by it, it's either easy money or just a bit of time to whip up anyway. I know Steam and kickstarter had these issues several years ago, and then had to put in stiffer requirements and refund people. Those same devs probably just migrated over to patreon and aimed at adult games.

As for the femdom games award this year, I didn't vote because I really didn't think there was enough content this year to make a real top 5 list. Even NiF and KG, they were one release this year, and while they're still good, if that was their first/only release I certainly wouldn't have been happy with them. I think we're giving them a legacy award, which, it's not a big deal honestly since the awards mean nothing, but that's how I see it. ANLIS was particularly bad for this, one release snuck in after over a year of nothing.

I have some hopes with MironY and Nikociant adding to the dev pool, but it's far away from an active, viable genre and entertainment source. Now sure I never expected a game a day or a week, and even once a month would be more than I could have hoped for, but as it is, it feels like maybe 5 or 6 releases a year with good content, for total number of hours I don't know that we even cross 10 hours a year. Can I really award a game that has less than 5 hours of content a year? I don't know what a fair minimum is, 5 to me seems fair but maybe some will say it's expecting too much for these games, but what would it be, 4, 3? Even setting to 3 hours I don't think most of the games would have made it this year.

I have very little hope for things to be better on the femdom front for 2024. We might get 2 releases each of NiF and KG since they both appear to be headed for an early 2024 release, and then maybe they'd also do a late 2024, so that's a positive, but that's going to be the bulk of it like usual probably. Since I'm personally not a fan of futa, that seems to also remove most other choices for me. A pure femdom game is rare and they almost all just get abandoned. KG and NiF are actually only partial, and I think both emphasize maledom/vanilla content anyway. It's just the femdom content is more developed than anywhere else. But these other games, if they have femdom and anything else, the femdom just disappears over time and clearly isn't what the dev wants to do. So for the most part I hate seeing femdom+maledom or femdom+futa. I also don't consider sissification femdom at all, it seems like gay content or actually maledom----it makes the idea of feminine inferior, rather than females being superior and deserving of worship or being sexually assertive which is how I look at femdom. If a guy wants to wear panties and be fucked up the ass what does that have to do with women? But I digress, jmo, I'm glad people have the choices and are happy if that's their kink, just not for me.

NiF had 2 updates this year. The 2nd one was obv the technical one, but I think it was still a good one, adding over 150 animation scenes, vanilla route (tho that's not smth that interests us here of course), new options during sex scenes, some new graphics, modes, proofreading and generally polishing the whole game. I believe it's nice for someone, who will start playing now, or for those, who will be replaying the game in the future. Also, because that polishing update was considerably big and it pushed the new chapter further in time, I think we may expect 3 updates next year. The dev also said - iirc - that with his new GPU the rendering time is considerably shorter, so that should help too.

As for the rest, I agree with you, although I think you can still play KG and see almost nothing or nothing from the maledom part of events. Originally I was moved into maledommy side of events, because I was too good with answering questions correctly, but after botching them I got full femdom experience. Although I am still disappointed that I can't be both an intelligent and a sub at the same time, and that after passing few questions MC is totally ok with his more maledom situation contrary to - some - players feelings.

But as a year ago, we'll probs get some nice things early next year. NiF, KG, but also The Prison 2 are shaping up to be updated. Femdom Secrets of Kate's Heart seems to be close to have a 1st release, and I guess we'll get some updates of the smaller, weirder, less polished games like Amoral Quest, Reincarnated in Submission, etc. with Darktoz chipping in 2-3 times with his games (btw you can turn off futa content in TSoB). Personally I don't play Mirony's games, so for me the femdom future looks more bleak in a way Maybe it's time to get again acquainted with online dommes and order more sessions IRL (def more expensive, but also nothing beats the real deal imo).
