Milovana got a cool one recently, . It's made for estim devices but I just muted the tab to ignore the signal that got played as audio and played along. It's much like Trials of the Succubi in that you find yourself in a house among a whole bunch of beautiful women with a supernatural pretense for why they want to make you cum and why you don't want that to happen. It does the more usual Milovana thing of unskippable timers, though I found its pace reasonable enough.

I don't want to oversell it, if Milovana stuff in general doesn't appeal to you at all you won't like this one either. But personally as someone who's a big fan of Evil Stepmommy, likes a handful of other things (most notably indyc's stuff), but can't get into their typical metronome gooning shit at all, this ranks high on my short list of things to check out on that website.

Hey y'all, I'm currently in the planning and early development of a game inspired by the games like, Broken Dreams Correctional Center, Lilith's Throne, and Trials in Tainted Space with that grid movement and mostly text based. Additionally, games like Boring Days and Enslavement War will have a decent influence with having the whole being dominated by someone "lesser", "weaker", etc to you. It will be made through Godot mostly because I have some experience in it and I've loved the flexibility with it compared to more traditional engines for nsfw games like twine or ren'py. I'm planning on designing all quests and characters with femdom in mind first and foremost (although there will be paths for vanilla and others, but they will have second priority). The current idea is to release a playable state and a decent amount of content within the next few months hopefully depending on the ease of planned features. For those of you that have played these types of games or similar games like them, what are some things you wished they had? What about things you wish they didn't have? What are things you liked/disliked about them? I can't promise every suggestion will feature, but each one will definitely be considered. I didn't want to ask this later on in development when a brilliant idea may come up but too late to implement, so I figured this is as good of time as any. Thanks for any and all help!

This idea won't appeal to most people here, but I'm gonna say it anyway. I enjoy femdom with a weaker/lesser character much more knowing there was an option for maledom, otherwise they just won't feel lesser no matter how many times the story calls them that.
Something else I enjoy which admittedly takes effort, is a system similar to the D/S stat in Warrior Guild, where your actions and choices slowly move you across it. The real genius is that it's dynamic and for example, you can be weak/submissive, rise to power/dominance, and the characters remark on your former state and your growth. More importantly (and arousingly) you can fall/submit and they will mock you for it.

More graphics and pictures :D While I do enjoy games like Boring Days or Finance Capital, part of their appeal is that there do have a bit of visuals, the passages are not overly long, there's a decent amount of choices. I'd love to have a bigger map visible somewhere instead of this small thing (especially when some devs try to make it more fancy or 3D) and even the possibility of clicking on the map with a mouse to move from one place to another (like Degrees of Lewdity).

What about things you wish they didn't have?
Usually there's too much combat for my liking. Even if it's fun after a while it becomes tedious and repetitive. Some games have it bit more fun (Monster Girl Quest), but usually not too much. I'd love to see some kind of reputation system. The fact that you subbed to a specific group of people should make some other from their sphere of influence know about it and use it against the MC. But it shouldn't be global, smth like in a maledom/gay game Lust Odyssey is imo very nicely implemented. Additionally, would be nice if characters would react to things like tattoos, writings on the body and such, in closer meeting, but also some glances on the street, etc. In general I'd love to have reactivity of the world, and less items, stats, clothing mechanics like in Corruption of Champions II, where imo it's much overdone.

As Umbra_2079 wrote, there should be an option to not surrender cleverly intertwined. The humiliation feels more tangible then than if we're just forced to sub. Also it would be cool to have a more prolonged way into submission. Not like out of the blue MC is licking spit from the floor, while a scene earlier he was saying he's a proud man. Would be cool if various characters would have their own progression systems (influenced by the reputation system, MC's looks, behaviour, etc.). That means I'd like a solid choices regarding MC's customization, but not overly convoluted and - as I wrote earlier - buried under too many stats.

These are my first few thoughts :)

That's actually something I quite like too! Some of my favorite stories involve that aspect and I can practically guarantee that at least some of the content that is planned and to be planned will involve that aspect!

Honestly, the visuals of those games were one of the bigger motivations I have for doing this. I've loved the worlds they create and the interactions in the world and so much more. The visuals... could be a bit more I agree. I'm currently working with placeholders and small artwork of my own, but the rough idea is to expand entirely into basic art on release before eventually doing "art updates" to not get too slowed down early on by the art. My initial idea is pixel art but that is more of an idea than a certainty at this point. As for the map... I agree a ton, I'd much rather have a bigger map and will hopefully be getting something like it implemented well enough visually. And clicking on the map to move has actually been implemented at a basic level so I'll leave that as a promise for being included.

The current idea is to include combat but at a more minor level compared to the others. I don't want too much focus on the combat to both help differentiate myself and put more focus on gameplay loops that revolve around the characters. Very much subject to change on that though. For reputation, that is on the idea board! Not a huge priority right now, but will eventually look into it and will definitely put some thought on your idea. For reacting to clothing and such, I do love to see it whenever I play a game, it makes it feel more "alive." I'll most likely look into getting something at least like it implemented in when I get around to focusing on adding clothes, accessories, marks, and more into it for character customization. Not sure yet on the specifics but the general idea would be to have the game take into consideration what exactly the player looks like and react accordingly. But that'll be for later.

I agree! I love when games have a sense of progression into submission rather than it be outright. While my current ideas behind how exactly it would work is very much up to change, my general sense is to have that progression system under custom NPCs. There will definitely be some variety in NPCs though where some it is very quick to progress with them in a sexual sense (but would still have same length of progression as others, just with less build up to the sexual parts) while others are much more slower in that sense. At least those are my more current thoughts.

Thanks for both of your thoughts! I might share my progress as I get it more and more functional with hopefully pictures! A lot of it can change, especially if some things are proving more difficult or doesn't make as much sense as before.

Hey! Sounds like this will be a fun one, and with those inspirations it seems like you have a fairly good grip on where you want to go with it too. My biggest gripe with these sorts of games are when they have me clicking on different locations at different times searching for things to do/events and coming up empty most of the time. If you're doing a map, maybe make it clear when there's no reason to visit a place from the map? Second biggest gripe is bad UX, having to chase around the whole screen for small buttons to press or having to dive into nested menus all the time. So if you avoid those you're off to a good start. It's harder to say what I would like to see in a game like that without knowing more context, but I guess choices with consequences and some really mean women, lol. Good luck! We will watch your career with great interest.

This thread has many games similar to this concept, not much in the way of Maledom, but the MC's are usually stronger than the female characters and can usually beat them pretty easily if they want

Thank you! Yeah, totally agree, it can be often annoying needing to click everywhere only to find nothing. I've spent some time thinking on that exact thing and my current thought process is to differentiate some of the location grid squares with either different colors or different symbols to indicate some special thing happening there. Like if something were to happen at around a set time period, some symbol were to show up on the square or the square is a different color to signify it is special. I do plan on having stuff included that aren't easily findable with symbols or colors, but that would only be for minor stuff. There has also been some thought on being able to pin certain events or quests on the main UI to help with keeping track on where to go? Not really sure without getting around to testing that and nothing specific decided on yet. As for UX, yeah, that'll be a tough one for this type lol. I will say I've been keeping in mind while planning on not forcing the user to go through multiple menus just to get what they want, never enjoyed that too much either. While some stuff will probably force the user to go through multiple menus, mainly to avoid clutter, it will (hopefully) be mostly stuff that the user won't need to find too often

The v1 had an actually kind of hot setup thing where while you were choosing your settings you'd get these little animations as your choices got applied to a strapped down player avatar on screen. Then after a literal minute when you started the thing it was literally just a slideshow with AI slop as the preinstalled images that you could have changed to something else if there was any reason to care.

I downloaded the v2 and while I haven't touched it yet, it looks like it's exactly the same thing with slightly improved production values so I expect it too to offer about two minutes of fun messing around with the intro scene.
