The thing that bugs me a lot is that F95 stores all non-monogamy relationships into "NTR", which specifially means non-consensual...

This isn't just limited to video games, but the kink community in general online and in real life. It's just a difficult kink to define and granularize, because it's so individuated and subject to each partnership's dynamics...and in a larger community in which there are as many takes on consent and the boundaries of acceptance as there are practitioners. And honestly, this particular form of power exchange/non-monogamy is definitely on the "edge play" side of the safety and consent spectrum.

It's not something to approach willy-nilly, and the bottom line is much of it is controversial for good reason...but, rarely for the same reasons you'll find on a porn game forum, where concepts like consent tend to be poorly-understood. Which is what I was pointing out -- cuckolding can and often does involve dubcon and CNC, which is why I consider it edge play, but there's still a difference between consensual roleplay and consent violation.

Just me, but hard disagree. We may be talking about video games and fictitious content, but consent is still a key fundamental to healthy D/s relationships...and so far this is one of the few games (well, game series) that handles that aspect without breaking suspension of disbelief.

What you're citing is commonly known as "cuck angst" and is the linchpin of cuckolding as a kink. Cuckolding is not about compersion; quite the opposite, it's about eroticizing humiliation, jealousy, and disempowerment. The prototypical cuckolding scenario is the D-type partner being "stolen" by a more attractive and sexually-competent competitor, for a reason.
