couldn't disagree more. once you get the hang of QSP, there's really nothing else quite like it. what you call "outdated", i call unique and refreshing. playing a good QSP game is like is like snuggling yourself into that world; with one hand on your mouse and one hand on your junk.QSP is, in my opinion, an outdated engine. The only QSP game that still gets good updates is Girl Life.
Wait so you haven't played QSP games like this at all (i.e. girl life)?never really seen an QSP game before. what's the engine like? and what's the likelihood of a Android port?
Try a different version Quest Soft Player:I started the game .... and saw nothing ....
Not a single picture is shown ... only the frames.
Pretty sure for QSP games you just need an interpreter on android to run the game, but I'm not sure if any of those are still being updated, since the Quest engine has fallen off quite some time ago, just like ADRIFT and DayDreamer. Most developers who used these engines have migrated to using RAGS, and that too is slowly dying out.never really seen an QSP game before. what's the engine like? and what's the likelihood of a Android port?
go to Northern districtFor the love of gawd I am going mad. Where oh where is the shower gel and shavers? Apart from not finding them the game seems ok for an early version, I particularly like the quick travel option which is missing from Girl Life. There will be lots of options for the dev to expand the game and I'm interested to see where it goes......once I can shave my legs

likewise with the patreon support. if mr_saturn can stay focused and continue with the content, he will be onto something very very special here and i would be happy to give money to support it. but if he loses interest/passion for the project and it falls to abandoned status like most other QSP games, we will have lost one of the potentially best female protagonist games out there. while Girl's Life is miles ahead at the moment in terms of content, what Femlife has going for it is that it's starting from a clean slate. Girl's Life is a remake and additon to an older game, Femlife doesn't have to worry about fixing many of the areas Girl's Life has run into during its dev cycle. As is my custom, I'm not going to write a formal review of a game in early development, so here's what I would say if I were writing one:
In a way, this game seems like a dream come true: a QSP game in which the protagonist looks the same throughout, as opposed to the QSP norm where real pictures are used, and the subject of the pictures often looks nothing like the protagonist. Some real photography is used here, but mostly only for locations and the like where the protagonist isn't visible. The paper doll for appearance works pretty well and is matched by the rendered scenes.
The game follows the "best practices" QSP procedures of sleeping, bathing, eating, etc pretty well. I question the addition of the daily obligation to take a dump, because the farting and grunting noises just make the player laugh and takes them out of the suspension of disbelief that makes the game work. As others have noted, the game needs tooltips for the buttons on the screen, or needs to revert to text for those if tooltips are not possible. In a time management game one cannot waste time trying to figure out and remember what some of the more obscure choices are.
The money system isn't balanced yet. Jobs pay a pittance ($2 an hour is common) and benefits cost a fortune ($10,000 for model training). The cheat system allows a way around this, but the designer seems to think (erroneously, IMO) that the game will be better if they remove the cheat system later on. For now, the broken economy can be worked around.
The game does need to use QSP's diary system to give players a hint of what to do to start quests and what they need to do to progress quests. In particular, the actions available are gated down to a few by depravity requirements and the player has no idea how to lower depravity to open up the game's options. Most games like this have random encounters that spur this, but I haven't seen any in this game and had to cheat my way into being able to play most of the options.
The translation seems much better than is the usual case with these machine-translated Russian QSP games. I've yet to run across an option that is gibberish in English.
Not much content yet, but enough to give a flavor for what the game could be. It's worth playing for the current content.
If this is the next phase of QSP games (QSP + rendered content) I will be delighted. QSP's ease of play, plus the immersion of actually seeing the protagonist in the game's context, makes for satisfying gaming. If the dev can deliver a few more updates with real content and in a reasonable amount of time, I will patronize them.
Recommended.
