Femtality is an amazing hentai game, with so much potential.

I love Femtality since it allows me to play as the female and actually dominate others. In most beat em ups, you play as the male getting dominated, a female getting dominated, or an uber refrigerator of a male who rapes everyone into the ground, being able to play as the dominate female is a rarity, and the main reason I love Femtaility.

As a switch, who likes being submissive from time to time, and I do enjoy a game as a male where a female dominates me, but there are so many of them to choose from, and Femtality allowing me to play as the dominate female is great.

The dev is active, and the updates are consistent, which is amazing considering they are working on 3 games now. Hopefully they don't overwork themselves and continue the updates. I would love a scene where Aerisetta defeats Varina and makes her submit to her feet, or even one if you lose to Varina she dominates Aerisetta. I really hope each boss enemy gets a scene with Aerisetta for beating them and losing to them.

The game is awesome.The game works very well the fun and the sexy stuff.
I really liked genres like street of rage and others. but this one, Is better than that. You can enjoy sexy girls while beating everyone to theyr knees.

So...the Femtalities...the thing this game is literally named after...aren't animated. In a game called Femtality. The namesake of the game. Is not animated.

Okay okay okay, that sounds like a nit pick. Surely the scenes for the literal draw of the game are at least well made, right? No. In the tutorial alone, you can get 6 or so scenes very, very quickly, and they're all about 3 images with very, very bland flavor text. More text than a lot of hentai titles give, but still not much.

The weird thing is that the scenes where YOU get grappled are animated. The 2 poses I saw looked nice, too. The cum animation was a nice way to avoid actually having to make one in 3D, being a little 2D popup like an internal view. It's creative, and I applaud that.

But the actual femdom part of the game is lazy. That's...honestly so absurd to me that I thought I had somehow fucked something up in the settings. How is the primary thing in this not animated? That's hilariously detached from your audience, but I suppose it's doing well enough to just be a personal peeve of mine.

Gameplay wise, it's just okay. There's a dev (excessm) that basically makes games exactly like (but with animated femdom scenes) and has 5 or so games out already. They're all basically the same, but they exist. This is just an inferior version of that- and clearly inspired by it- but done with you as the aggressor. It's kiiiiiiiind of flashy, but just eh. The gameplay IS above average, as its not standard RPGM filth. If the actual porn were better, this would easily be 4 stars.
But it's not.

The porn is the worst part. It's weak as hell from what I've seen, and you'd be better off playing something else if this is your niche. I always am far more critical of games that aren't even hand animated to begin with. They're using the engine that every horny boy and even their father uses to make VNs nowdays, so you really don't deserve to be let off easy when the M A I N focus of your game isn't animated. It's just. Weird.

From the animated thumbnail here on F95, I can see that some of the animations might be femdom, but the 6 scenes I got with dialogue weren't.

Top notch game with a dev who is actually active. Regular monthly updates and the dev answers questions and replies, especially on the discord. Lots of nice femdom variety to see, both done on the player and by the player. I'm excited to see where this game goes.

The combat is fun if you just wanna play the game. Lots of different scenes in visual novel style or mid gameplay animations across the many characters.

The game itself is alright, feels like a regular beat 'em up but it's nothing special.
The erotic stuff is good; it's a femdom game and the scenes and writing are decent for them but you can tell that the creator is using AI art and should really add that to the tags. Still though, it's pretty impressive on its own merits.

When it comes to proper a proper hentai beat em up/ action game, this one is top tier.

The combat feels great, the combos are smooth and impactful, movesets and abilities are interesting.

Very easy on normal but have some crazy challenges on the higher difficulties.

The male protag is a bit too hard to control, but really powerful once you learn how to use him (basically a must at higher difficulties).

Lots of nice femdom scenes, but a bit disjointed on how they are shown, hope there was a gallery or something for viewing.

A bunch of vanilla battle sex scenes as well but not really my thing, but I guess some people like that.

Story mode is pretty entertaining, hope it gets updated more often and more integrated into the game. some good potential for world building with all the lore books lying around.

Boring gameplay, atrocious controls and paywalled. The holy trinity of everything wrong with this game being posted on this site and the best part about it is the promotional artwork. Don't waste your time and don't waste your money.

Could really use some polish, everything feels clunky and the scenes a little off. Pain to install. (Paying for patreon, going through discord for the right files and the code.) Maybe if you're really into feet.

I really enjoyed this game mostly as it has all the fetishes that I am into and I think this is one of the more original games out there.
I love the combat, its quite smooth and fluid, the scenes are also quite good, they lean heavily on the femdom side though so not everyone would be into that.

Always was a sucker for beat-em up, platformers and sidescroller h-games but this game just ticks everything i want in h-game just right!

Starting with Combat, Combat is really dynamic with mechanics of swapping team memebers wich all have diffrent unique "ultimates" that alow you for crazy combos.

Despite advertising it as femdom game i think if someone who isnt a fan femdom but enjoyer of beat-em ups will find something for himself here as there are "normal" (for beat-em up standard) sex-scenes its not all spanking and dick stomping wich leads us to next point wich is;

Diversity in h-content is so wide and top notch that everyone will find something for himself here (wich exception for some really extreme kinks)

Setting and lore is also (for a h-game) enjoyable and complex wich is a really good +

Character design is also really... Nice.

There are a lot of problems here, like the absurdly long text pop-ups for every single thing that happens and the pointless, honestly bizarre inclusion of narration, but the worst part of this game by far are the controls. The game borders on unplayable in its current state, with the character never quite doing what the player wants, movement being almost comically sluggish and poorly handled and annoying clusters of enemies that seem to take forever even with enormous 40-hit combos. It feels like controlling a probe on Mars while aliens take potshots at it. There are a huge number of instances where you will be standing right next to an enemy hitting the attack button, and it just... won't attack them. Then they'll do their attack, and it immediately hits you without any trouble. You move at one mile an hour while holding your sword, but you absolutely need it to deal any damage whatsoever. Problem is, enemies instantly disarm you the second they breathe on you and when they're swarming all around you, the chance of picking it back up again is slim to none, so you're stuck very slowly slapping them to death. The point I'm getting at here is that the sluggish controls and poorly configured hitboxes make this game an excruciating slog at best and a borderline-unplayable mess at worst.

At the end of the day though, it's the little "fuck you"s that the game gives to the player that make the game really painful. Enemies that can heal one another instantly, forcing you to waste an enormous amount of time herding them into a corner to kill them all at once, the inability to open the menu or check the controls during a fight, having to stop hitting enemies after you beat them to let them enter their "defeated" state so you can finally actually kill them, the fact that the pause button is fucking ENTER for some reason... these kinds of games have existed for decades now, so how is it possible to fuck up the formula this badly? I think the defining moment of it came early on for me, at a point when they spawned a bunch of enemies that can heal each other across the map. The game tells you to "use your ultimate", but doesn't tell you what it is or how to use it. You can't open the menu or check the controls, so you're stuck slapping them until you can finally push them close enough to get both of them at once, all the while an annoying enemy constantly hits you from behind and can't be killed until you kill the healing enemies.

Even with all these problems, though, the art is good... even with how creepy and uncanny it gets. Does the job. Overall, the game part of this game is just awful, but the art is good enough to where if you're into the subject matter, the game is worth playing.

there's four modes in this game.
1.Main mode (Patreon)
2.Main mode (free)
3.Femdom mode
4.Story Mode Aerisetta
The main mode is a stereotypical beat'em up, except you're expected to make a party with 3 characters and there's only one male character (who wears a female chestplate and has tits for some reason), whatever.
The Femdom mode has you playing the one male character in a disjointed amalgam of about 6 characters and they all differ wildly in a bad way.
One has about 4 scenes and you need to lose about 15 times to run out of dialogue, weird.
One has no dialogue and the scenes are of a completely different character than the one you're playing.
One has no walking animations whatsoever and just sort of t-poses across the field.
One uses AI generated art which is different from everything else in the game.
The dev says you're not supposed to play the story mode which is why it's placed last, and after seeing the quality of the rest of the game, I didn't bother.
The controls are just awful, you need to look at a guide to even figure out how to get around the menu, pressing J is the confirmation button.
There's a combo system of which you can get about two hits in with your weapon, seems useless.
This game seems way too convoluted and hacked together and lacking on content to be anywhere near being a 0.9 release.

The good points :
- Game has 5 different character with each their original playstyle
- Difficulty levels for people wanting to challenge themselves
- Diversity of the scenes and a lot of them being animated
- Warnings for "extreme" fetish scenes to be able to skip them

The things that could be better:
- Gallery selection of scene (instead of waiting for rng)
- More sex scenes

In the end it's a really solid game with really fun gameplay and good scenes.

This game haves really high potential to be my favorite hentai game of all time and here are the reasons:

The battle system is great with lots of combos, if all the characters haves a complete mechanic in the future like Aerisetta, than i will be a 10/10 in fighting system

I love the fetishes here, special the footsie moves, and i can't wait to all the characters having the undressing system and being able to fight undressed too, that will make the game soo complete , special with the semi nude layer of undressing. Also i really wish for all the characters having sex scenes animations in the stages, including female x female content, would love to see Aerisetta for example being dominated by the virgin priestess mini boss too, like some fisting or feet rub in her pussy as sex move till the player loses all the hp and sucumb to the desire xD. the only thing that i don't really like is the farting h-scenes, but at least it haves a warning to skip xD

about the story, i really hope ot see more stages with diferent enemies, hope for more female sexy waifus enemies too, i know the developer does not like ryona and rape, but i guess if the protagonists likes finishing the oponents with femtality, the oponents could do it too without any injured/gore content, just horny bad ending with the characters actually addicted to the situation enslaved by their own desires xD

overall i feel like this game will take at least 1 more year to get done, but i can feel that it will be100% in my top 3 hentai games, can't wait for more updates^^

Now that the story is no longer weirdly buried in a hidden part of the game, I think the praise the game gets is more understandable. It definitely does some things very well, but it has some flaws that I think still need to be addressed.

Personally, I think the game has way too much DRM for a game this early in development. Getting virus scans going off because the files are encrypted, and having to enter a password *every* time you launch the game is obnoxious. Though tbf, it got me, and I dropped $10 to try the full version of the game. The demo shows you just about everything you're going to get, so it's only worth paying for if you're happy with what's in the demo.


Gameplay

The game play is... Boring honestly. My preference is for male protags, but ended up swapping to the female MC, because the male MC is obnoxiously slow and weak. Anyway, the game dumps you into the world, and you just start the beat 'em up. As another reviewer mentioned, the lewd scenes seem to have no impact on game-play, which is very weird? If you should only be able to lose so many times, but it's just so disjointed. The fights are easy, but tedious, and don't feel like they're building toward anything due to the monotony of the enemies, and lack of story.


Interface

Absolutely awful... There doesn't seem to be an obvious save/load screen as one would expect, so I felt like I couldn't put the game down till it was done. Apparently there is an auto-save, but there's no indicator of when it happens. Also, the control editing requires you to edit "player 3" in order to change the hero swap hotkeys... Really feels like they put no time or thought into it. Absolutely needs to be fleshed out further.


Art

Basically the best part of this game, by far... The characters are super hot, drawn fantastically, and even animated occasionally. If you don't care about gameplay, then you'll probably love this game.


Character Design

Fantastic character designs, every girl is hot and uniquely designed to fit a variety of fetishes. I just wish we had more time to "get to know" the characters first, but that might come as more story does?


Story

Archeologists have finally uncovered the lost, secret story of the game that was buried deep within the twisting labyrinth of the mode formerly known as "The Path of the Pathetic". Turns out, it's actually pretty decent... What little there is, anyway. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be the focus of the game (yet?), where a significant portion of the characters introduced have yet to make their way into the story yet, which is kinda weird.


Kink

Honestly, as a femdom enjoyer, the kinks are pretty great. Lots of footdom, findom, mommydom, etc. It's all executed well, with good art that matches. My main issues with the kink is how it's presented. The scenes pop in almost out of nowhere, and are gone before you can really enjoy them. As another commenter mentioned, there also doesn't seem to be a progression to them. Instead, it's just random, which I don't think is ideal. I think it would make more sense, and be hotter if it was based on what attack they got you with, and how many times they've grappled you already.


Areas for Improvement

Objective improvements:
Major - Fix the save system.
Moderate - Fix the DRM so that a password does not need to be entered upon every launch. (Once the password is entered, put a file in %APPDATA% or something.)
Minor - Fix the controls screen to not have multiple player options, since that clearly doesn't fit the game.

Subjective improvements:
Major - Focus more development on the gameplay, systems, interface, etc over just adding more lewd scenes and girls that aren't even in the story yet.
Moderate - Give the male protagonist some mobility.
Moderate - Make getting raped a bad thing for the male protagonist? The female lead clearly heals from that in the story. Perhaps it should be optional?
Minor - Render the male protagonist in scenes where he's being abused. (Unlikely to happen, since the renders seem to be reused, but I can pray.)
Minor - Some form of build up or progression through the lewd-scenes? Could be optional as well.

- Counter to every review up to now, I find the gameplay very repetitive and simple. With the main succubus character, you have pretty much no challenge in combat since your light attack is super fast to stun-lock most enemies, while your dash heavy attack and jump attacks gets around your light attack's short range
- (most disappointing to me) There are no true battle fuck mechanics or resources to manage. Sexy content mostly comes in the form of femtality finishers of the enemy after they have 0 hp where you femdom them, rewarding you with a randomly chosen scene and taking them off the map. Alternatively, you get repeating sex sprite/cut-ins if you charm an enemy (standing heavy attack usually) and let them grab you. In this case you get dominated in a sex scene which I thought had promise. However, both the femdom and maledom scenes have no consequences on gameplay - there's only the HP and mana resource to manage, while the battle fuck mechanics don't interact with them.
- Lack of enemy sex variety. There are quite a few enemies with different combat behaviors, but they all behave the same in sex scenes.
- Lack of progression. The sex scenes are randomly chosen so at the start of the game you sample from the same pool of sex scenes as the end of the game, meaning there was little incentive for me to keep playing other than the gameplay, but as I explained before that part was very boring to me.

= I'd also prefer having more depth of content for the single main character rather than having many characters with scenes, but that's my preference and doesn't affect the rating.
