The tags are not defined by "people" but applied according to the site's rules. As long as there is one scene of whatever tag is being discussed is in, the tag should be set. Here we have optional gay sex (see micmitja's post).

I agree that lesbians or trans people have their own tag which should be used but I wouldn't know of a single example where that has been tagged as "gay".
