I got mine working. if you got directplay pop ups or error with japanese text do this:

Control Panel > Program (or Program and features) > turn windows features on or off > Legacy Components > check the Directplay checkbox then ok or apply

I used Locale Emulator.

Anyone who's got error "0xc0000022", I've found a solution. Your Windows lacks DirectPlay, install it and use Locale Emulator.
