I have downloaded the game from multiple file host sites and it doesn't open at all.

but looking further , yes , removing the splash png also worked for me

for me it was BOTH the "presplash.png" and "00layeredimage_ren.py", after first deleting the png I finally was able to get a traceback log to pop up and it showed the 2nd issue of there being both a "00layeredimage_ren.py" and a "00layeredimage.rpy" present and it said that both shouldn't exists in the games files. So I took a guess and deleted the "00layeredimage_ren.py" file and now it opens just fine. Finally, lmao.

We'll keep an eye out for any other issues happening with those files. Since they are files generated by Ren'Py itself, it is possible that was caused by our shift to the latest version. Anyways, we're glad to hear you can play and hope you enjoy it~

any future plans to reconsider only dom path i think its great flexibilitiy for an dev to have both ways as when u are thinking about inspration for a route u can work on other and just having 2 diff genre means 2x the player great game so far like it wish all the best luck and succes !!<3

We talked it over a few times and again after a few players brought it up. We think making a novel with both routes could be fun, but because of the amount of branching we planned for this one, adding a sub path would increase the branching too much. We want to save that for our next novel, so that we can plan everything with that in mind.
