Not yet. Devs have been saying the update is releasing "soon" for the better part of a few months. I wouldn't expect and update or a non-vr mode anytime soon

I´ve seen form itnernet, it says it is moree difficult to port from VR to desktop. If they first created a VR version, then Desktop will be more difficult. Heh Desktop -> VR is easier
