and for the doubt, i get it completely and you dont even have what i have in mind i want to do multiple gameloop like the tavern gameplay + the combat fuck rpg system but thats just the first part lmao i want to do a basic exploration/trip gameloop + a infiltration gameloop where u would have sequence in level tied to the story where u will have lewd assassin type shit lmao but thats not for tomorow and honestly if u wanna doubt i have no problem even say it loud idm i would say the same
but here is my status for u to undestand where im at what i have anticipated what i have not already prepared :
I have setup my entire workflow of art to be scalable and completely modular because of this main reason: what i want to do in term of quantity is abberant, just this demo and this first lewd event has already 100+ unique animation if u count the transition and it took me 1 month to do all of it cause it was the first time and also i made it on purpose to do this sixty nine position cause in term of loop possibility and passiv/activ position it was the most complex to design also i have the start position where the player and npc move with motion warping and root motion that was challenging on purpose to start with something difficult to realise to be sure i could handle a lot after that
and what i discover is that the actual time consuming thing wich i thought would be animation was actualy system developement and the rpg system tied to it with the many feature associated u might not discover it but in the back there is even a "heat feature" that react the more a character climax the more it start blushing on body part the whole system with the asynced animation montage and the rpg thing took me 6 month to set up the actual game logic and develop it when i thought it would be faster than animating lol
the good thing is now that i have developed the whole combat system its done and its scalable too as much as the art side and that way i actualy could take like just a few week per lewd event and go supa fast to add content (everything is relativ) after what i have already done obviously u would have to tweak thing and integrate it correctly but its tedious not the hard part
There is so much to say about my current status on the project other than that
For example im confident i can do something cool cause i prepared all those thing in that way :
i started all those thing 2 years ago when i learned all i needed art and code wise but i also learned a lot while doing it the moment i actualy started that precise project in march 2024 (cause i started 2 years ago knowing absolutely nothing about anything litteraly not speaking english at all lmao)
and for the actual example, for the infiltration gameloop and the whole game i have my npc with behaviour tree and perception system setup that way the moment i want to create a type of npc that will act like a guard or thing like this i will implement it directly cause those thing already work in my project npc already can check on u and fire event if u go near them or they hear u or see u
so yeah this is ambitious but i can deliver something also what u have in mind is that nobody paid me or supported me for this 2 year and im still here just starting my thing so my comitment is not the question i wanna play my game the only thing is that if nobody want to i might aswell fuck off and do my thing slowly alone and i will probably try to improve my workflow rather than adding content and take the slow path but i will do that thing for passion there is no doubt about that im already doing it for 2 years now and also i have no life and i can't have one so realy its just about feeding my self in the process with or without any supporter and doing the thing i like
