There definitely is, though it appears too be more based on area. Goblins in the witchy woods either spitroast the girl, or ride the boy, and undead in the spirit castle either give ghost cunnilingus to the girl or.... again, ride the boy (here's hoping for a little more creativity, moving forward). I'm only two areas in, but there's definitely different defeat animations for getting beat in different forms in different areas, but it doesn't seem to depend on the actual enemy.

i think he meant same enemy animations for both genders. not different enemies of the same area for the different genders.

I didn't make these myself, but here are the maps for all the games areas. They're marked with key items (including quest items), hidden chests, certain costumes, and gacha coins.

Considering updating them with item/clothing merchant locations, quest NPC locations, boss rooms, heart/magic upgrades, permanent upgrades, and summoning stone locations for when the patch fixes the issue.

Crunched some numbers in terms of money grinding as well. To 100% the game (i.e. buy all costumes and equipables) you need somewhere in the ballpark of 15k gold. You can use cheat engine to pump up your numbers. I know enemies drop more cash on death in the 1.3 patch, so hopefully there isn't a need to grind then.

Is this broken ? i can't see image, also I'm stuck at Jigoku, hopefully i didn't soft lock it and just miss some area , i can't find the key i need for the boss fight

My gold calculations were also off as well. You need exactly 20,451 gold to buy everything in the game (breakdown below). Even with the extra coin drops in the 1.3 update, you still need to grind. I did a run where I killed every enemy I came across (with the lucky cat charm equipped), opened every secret chest, and got the extra 1000G from completing Leg's questline, yet I was still around 15k short of what I needed. This goes without saying, use cheat engine!

At the very beginning of the game, there is a mimetic chest monster that requires you to find a key.
I found the key and inserted it, and the chest monster turned into a girl. However, there was no further development. Although the game's visuals continue to move, none of my button presses have any effect.
Did I miss some step? I'm using a translated non-English version of the game. If the issue is caused by the translation, I could try playing the original English version and then transfer the save file back to the translated version, though I'm not sure if that would solve the problem.

It seems it was indeed a translation issue. I switched to the English version and got through this scene without any problems.

Ah man, that is a real bummer. But yes, it must have been a bug. I just finished it yesterday for the second time. Absolutely amazing game!

what does yellow frog talisman do? I have it equipped but its a passive and I have yet to notice anything (could it not be working because I haven't actually done the ghost castle yet? XD got the pass through thorns ability and my adhd ass got distracted and ended up trawling around the demon area for a good long while instead)
