VN Ren'Py Fog of War [Ep. 5.5] [Story Machine Studios]

Storywise is too soon to say much but the MC is a bit of a Gary Stu. 22 years old Delta Force veteran with eidetic memory yada yada.
The renders and animations are pretty good. The MC's girlfriend is a hottie but her sex scene is like softcore (no genitals on screen).
Sound and music are average.
Overall is a good first release and it lets you wanting more.

Really a good and refreshing setting and story. Beautyful renders also...hope the Dev continues the game and does he update in January 2023 as stated on patreon...worth to buy the next update.

This has promise, but I do have to echo the comment by Space Zombie that the dev needs to do more research on the military, as there are several rather glaring inaccuracies that make it difficult to connect to the story.

First, the army does not have "bases"; it has "posts". Army posts are generally either referred to as "Camp X" for smaller posts, or "Fort Y" for the larger ones.

The ASVAB test is given before enlistment to determine which areas the individual is best suited for, so having the MC refer to it as something given before a road march is inaccurate.

Soldiers are not eligible for Delta until they've been in for a while, so getting into the training for it fresh out of basic is not realistic. The soonest I've ever seen anyone apply for it has been after the first enlistment, though things may have changed *slightly* since I was in the Army.

I'm a combat vet from the last century, Army Artillery in particular, so I'm not talking out of my ass. I will be following the development of this title, because the story on its own has potential. There are far worse sins in VN games that send up red flags than the terminology and research gaps.

I have amended several things you have mentioned. EXCEPT the time served to get in to Delta. There are some Sci-Fi not entirely realistic things at play in this story. He was in service for 2 years before he was vetted though.

Glad you enjoyed it overall though.

May because Dev just released it 3 days ago...we should at least wait 1-2 weeks...the game is really great made
wit good renders, story and scenes...really professional. If someone can support the dev would be good otherwise we ll have a good game abandoned again.
