Main problem, as often, we see most games here are in development. As this suggest that mean often not all things are clear or already cut and dried.
I myself like the devs, who excactly knows what story games they want to make, cause neither are their the ones that changes their mind if some single zoner comes and write "if you add/remove that then xx will subscribe/unsubscribe and your game will success/become a failure". But not devs do that, some don't know for certained how they want their game to be and most of them are grateful if you can help them with their problem or if you have a good idea that fits in their game - Protip often our ideas or visions don't fit in the game theme, so just drop it.

Also, people need to be patient, as the games are most times in development and that may often not be a plain straight way without detour from A to B. Often you try something only to discover lat that it doesn't work as intented and scratch that idea and remove it again. And even then, this isn't pe se a waste of time as long as you can learn from it and it helps to make the game better.
