Geniuely how are the tags on this site so shite? Tag rework coming "soon" since years and then we have these obvious tag fails but the game has one fpov scene so clearly thats a female "protagonist"
The fuck?! You're complaining about the website and then by your own admission it's tagged correctly?!

One scene might not seem that important for this tag, but if it exists, it needs to be tagged. Imagine playing a VN and out of the blue....BAM!! Surprise, motherfucker! Unavoidable scat scene. Wouldn't be cool, would it.

Easy mode is still way too difficult. damage numbers seemed to not change at all, and you can easily wipe on a fight if youre not careful. Still avoid until early game fighting is balanced better.

This game has some flaws that I would say are making it much lesser than it could have been.

Losing all levels while keeping gear means that the gameplay loop is basically going out into dungeons just to find items with the absolute strongest extra health and damage to mitigate the drawback of your party members being disposable. It takes the focus off characters, they become empty vessels. And top tier loot will be the real prize and goal of the game. While a good porn game should absolutely be about character interactions, you should be able to interact with them in a multitude of ways, leveling up in specific ways would be one of these if it's a dungeon crawler RPG inspired game. I don't think this will be changed, the dev has put too much effort into this path already.

Permadeath isn't actually permanent. You can get your limited number of party members back exactly the same as they were at lvl1. It's costly, grindy and above all really boring leveling them up in a way that's not the basic gameplay loop of going through dungeons. Why have them die at all? Just make them be temporarily incapacitated or kidnapped or whatever. Again, I don't think the dev will change this because there's too much sunk cost.

Using town guards as disposable soldiers that can't even level up and have no fap content either seems just awful. It's like the worst of both worlds, bad for a serious dungeon crawler but also bad for a fap game.

No combat sex interactions, except for when you lose a party member and she "dies". Why put these fuckable characters into a fap game if the MC can never fuck them? Wasted opportunity. This can still be implemented but won't be enough for me personally.

A protagonist a fpov scene does not make. Also wow, equating female protagonists to scat is... quite a reaction. You ok? I mean i agree with your point but its just not a appropriate tag for that.

" A protagonist (from prōtagōnistḗs 'one who plays the first part, chief actor') is the main of a story. The protagonist makes key decisions that affect the , primarily influencing the story and propelling it forward, and is often the character who faces the most significant obstacles. "

It was an example, ever heard of those?
I used the most extreme example to illustrate what could happen if the website said: "fuck it, it's only one scene anyway".

Anyway, if you think it's tagged incorrectly, report the OP man. The mods aren't going to play every game to self correct tags.

I usually don't let bad reviews get to me, but getting hit with three 1-star ratings all calling my game “low effort” really pissed me off. I’ve spent nearly a full year pouring all of my free time into building this—balancing a full-time job, late nights, weekends, all fueled by passion and sheer determination. It hasn’t been easy, but I kept at it because I love what I’m creating.

So yeah, reading lazy, dismissive reviews from basement dwellers who’ve likely never created anything more complex than a Reddit comment hits a nerve. These are people whose greatest achievement might be finishing their anime pillow collection, yet they throw around terms like “ugly” or “low effort” with zero understanding of what actually goes into game development. It’s not just insulting—it’s ignorant.

I’m not asking for praise. I welcome real criticism—hell, that’s how things get better. But mindless insults disguised as reviews from people who have no skin in the game? Miss me with that.

Anyway, I just needed to vent. I’m still pushing forward. Just had one of those days.

Keep trucking dude. I'm super excited to see somebody making this game- I've always been interested in doing something similar but never got around to actually getting off my ass and doing it. We will watch your career with great interest.

Also, what models are you using to generate the DD lookalike content? I'd love to use them for my own... purposes...

As another dev, I completely understand this on a deep level. So many idiots who don't understand the idea of: don't like it? Don't play it! They HAVE to spew their unwanted opinions into the void and are so weak that they feel the need to hurt the game they don't like instead of just moving on. They rate it low because they know otherwise they'd be ignored like the insignificant piles of shit they are. Create nothing, criticize EVERYTHING.
While this game does have its problems (what game doesn't?!), it has true potential and I look forward to seeing more! Keep up the hardwork, and even though it can be difficult, don't let the brainlets get you down. Cheers, bro!

So does losing to enemies give you different defeat animations? Like if I lose to the necromancer woman with the skeletons, do I get necromancer femdom'd?

This is not the way to respond to criticism. Best to respond to it when your emotions aren't involved in the slightest. There's a guy on Youtube called PirateSoftware, he had a guy say that the maze in his game was 'put there to extend the length of the game past the two hour mark so you can't refund it on steam' This is a lie, but what Pirate Software took away from it was that the maze was boring and not a fun part of the game. So they worked to improve the game and ended-up removing that maze from the game. Because they found it wasn't fun or engaging.

TLDR; Try to take what useful criticism you can from less than constructive comments. Responding to lazy and dismissive comments by calling them such. Calling people who played your game and didn't like it, 'basement dwellers who likely etc. etc.' will gain you nothing but you looking like someone who can't take criticism. And that's done whether you can take criticism or not. Responding to these comments in such a hostile emotional outburst is two things, exactly what some people want to get a rise out of you. And two, not conducive to presenting yourself in a good light to potential players or current players of your game.

I say this not having played your game yet. But I saw this message quoted and was concerned.

Thanks man <3 appreciate it

As for the models they were a mix of SD1.5 (character models), SDXL (mostly juggernaut for backgrounds and items) and Pony(for the sex scenes). Then a lot of editing with Photopea(free photoshop) and Krita to look more darkest dungeonesque.

I know my game is no way perfect but calling it shit/low effort and that it looks bad is extremely bad faith. Like you said, there are people where their life resumes to being a forum review hero, otherwise they would just be lost in the oblivion.

Sorry, there is nothing to take from comments like "the game looks like shit, plays like shit/low effort lazy dev".

Sometimes Most times feedback isnt very useful, most people struggle to clearly define what their problem with your work is and many dont even try to, they just say that they didnt like it. Best to just ignore/acknowledge and move on in these cases...

If i had to guess the lazy dev comes from the AI art. Its a very divisive topic... and while i largely agree with the people decrying AI art, you've cleary made a effort on getting the AI to stay on style, which already is more than most people who use AI art. And yeah, people have no idea how much work goes into making usable assets so being a creator myself i can understand why someone would use AI even if i wouldnt myself.
