For the record I also work in illustrative arts, and I was literally saying "innocent until proven otherwise" and to keep an open mind. I no longer think that Pencilnote uses AI and even during while I was, I was skeptical for a good chunk of it. I had good reasons for my suspisions which were thankfully explained by the artist.

And while the lineart and constructioin of the body itself looks good in this case, that can also be explained using img2img processes, either the one build into Automatic1111 or the controlnet plugins. This is also what I stated in my post about why I was suspiucious of the art amongst other things.

While I do have to apologize for the commotion I've caused, I was not unreasonable with my statements.

I stress again that I no longer think the artist uses AI in any part of their process.

P/S: this will be the last I'm going to talk on this thread regarding this matter, and it's christmas for me right now so Merry Christmas fellas

This is also what I stated in my post about why I was suspiucious of the art amongst other things.

I was not unreasonable with my statements.

That's the thing, my dear illustrious nobody, you have so much ego that you were compelled to come here, and make accusations based solely on your inaptitude to differentiate man from machines, all the while acting like an authority, as if the dev had to answer to you to get green-lit, and that's a very unreasonable thing to do.

Not my best piece, but it's the only one I haven't posted anywhere recently. Frankly speaking I don't think I'm that good compared to my peers, but I think it's safe to say I at least know what I am talking about.

For the record the devs can do whatever they want. It's their game, they don't need to answer to anyone, and certainly not me. But this is a forum, people talk, discuss, and as I've said I've provided my reasonings. If you have a problem with it, start by specifying which part do you think doesn't make sense first. If you really want to continue it, my DM is open, here is not the place.

May or may not delete the image later because this is related to my client, and this whole thing is very unrelated to the thread at large. I suggest you think your thoughts quick.

If you have a problem with it, start by specifying which part do you think doesn't make sense first.

Thanks, and I think so as well. By the time I realized the contrast should be higher it was already pretty late and I would've had to repaint a lot so I didn't bother lol.

May I also ask if you're also an artist? I mean with the way Marupu was stating things he isn't really against with the artist as a whole even though it came off as aggressive since I checked his postings on this thread.

There's nothing wrong with being cautious and asking whether the dev has used AI in their works especially when we are in a time period where AI is getting better in trying to replicate artworks and I can't blame him if he was wary with the way things are presented. He's simply stating opinions and it's not like he doesn't acknowledge that the artist is talented or skilled with his illustrative works, in fact I'd say that he is praising PencilNote as one of the artist, a real gem in the rough that is actually making real art instead of slop we have seen in this forum.

I'll say it as I said to you in DM, I'll agree to disagree. I'm not sure why you would think that, but if it's somehow to that extreme then it's probably my fault to some extent. Though I must say, I've been called a "snowflake", "bully", "condesending", "authoritative", "illustrous nobody" and "big ego" as well as "print bumper stickers" and "think too much of myself" by you in the span of the last five something hours. Can we give eachother a little more courtesy?

And I'm not a moderator, but we really should stop continuing this in the thead. This isn't relevant to the game and it could get it locked down, as I've been made aware of.
