I don't know if you know this, but VHS rentals were only overtaken by DVD rentals in 2003. VHS was discontinued in 2016.

Also, some people were just poor and only had a VCR to watch stuff with.

It's absolutely out there. Outside the OBVIOUS search terms. The main game utilized to make these is TK17 (the klub 17 - based on a really old game called Sexvilla)
