You have to fail the Perfect Order minigame. Generally, if you haven't 100%ed the map, you haven't collected everything, so make sure to check the 100% guide for any items you may have missed if your map's incomplete.

There's a room you need to go back to near the base. If you were paying attention, you'll notice that there was something that required an item you didn't have yet.

for some reason I can't open my map what in the controller settings is the binding for the map I changed the layout and haven't been able to reset to default since.

I don't have anything bound to m or ctrl

I don't usually use controller for this game, but I put my ps4 controller in, didn't change any defaults.

It's the options button, which is the start button spot for most controllers.

I'm sure I already failed it, and I was able to get the pink stone, and regarding monsters, items and achievements, I have them at 100%. Did they all do it with a new save or are there no errors when I use a save from another version?

Even with a controller the options/start button doesn't have any keys bound to it so nothing happens when I connect and press start

Hmmmm, a couple things I can think of.

Rebind the controls with keyboard/controller to w/e you would want, defaults if you wanted.

If you're looking for the menu, it's select (share button on ps4 controller)

The extreme option is to completely unzip the game again, possibly delete save data, and see if it goes back to default.

I'm not sure if there's also a way to go into w/e files to edit what the controller/keyboard is mapped to, because I know some games have those.

Yeah I needed to make a new config and everything went back to normal
