It seems like the foundations being built up right now which means a lot of the progress is going into the actual systems in the game, with the 2 new anims mainly being there to keep people interested

To be clear, I'm not criticizing Zell or trying to be a downer. Maybe I'm just coming off wrong, lol. I'm glad progress is continuing and frankly even the unfinished game was good enough for me. Stuff like the butt-boxes are still among my favorite pixel animations.

But yeah, that was my point, it seems a lot of work for this patch was mostly background and foundational stuff which is fine, just not much extra for us peasants to sample just yet.

It's ok, you are not alone in there, I understand the excitement, especially when it's about something that really fits your tastes, I also think that it's not that much, but maybe that normal considering other projects with the same update rate (in terms of new releases per year) seem to follow that same path.

And that's why I like to wait a long time until I give those games a 2nd try, but that just why I prefer doing it in most cases, going back to a game each month just to enjoy +10 more minutes of content is not enjoyable to me, so I just wait and do other stuff in between.

Does anyone know what's the best place to get the newest demos? I see that they often post the demos on theor fanbox, but it's in 2 parts, and I haven't tried, nor do I know how one would merge the two (if they even need merging). Or would using the newest links in this thread be a better choice?

The February build was posted about 10 comments back roughly. Download it and extract it as it's all in one part now (at least for the time being).

Well the only real difference is that one is merged and the other isn't; yes they need to be merged.
Due to some regional issues Zell hast to do this file splitting thing which comes at our expense.
We've seen many struggle with the merging too.
If you don't want the headache, let someone merge them for you and provide the download link.

But if you want to try your hand at it:
After downloading the 2 files rename the part2 file, to avoid confusions, and then extract the 2 rar files.
Best is to extract them directly, maybe put them in an extra file if you want.
Then you simply run the part 1 file and it basically does everything for you.

I don't see any intercourse bar with either the mush girls or the mushrooms. (they really need to be renamed)
Also the smaller ones cannot be captured, as well as harpies, bees and that new enemy Fenrir.
In addition the slime wall can also deal damage if an enemy stands in it or runs through it.

For some reason, I have not been getting notifications for being mentioned. But anyway, danke. I'll look into some of this myself, but honestly, I think I may need to start splitting the guide into two sections. One for combat and items, another for captures and achievements. (You do seem to be here very often, so if you could somehow help with that whole sorting process, it would be greatly appreciated.)

Also, additional note for anyone using the February build, the controls might be a bit botched. Either that or my controls fucked up somewhere within the downloading process. Either way, these are the controls as they should be, as listed in the controls menu.

(I should note though, X is not used for jump normally. Space is. But I find X to be far more comfortable and intuitive for me personally.)

(To that same end, it should also be noted that Shift is normally the button for masturbation, but I use E because, again, it feels better.)

To change your controls, press Settings --> Operation Settings --> Select Input Device --> Keyboard and Mouse, then click on any of the inputs listed to remap them.

Isn't it funny how I recently just start a new game of FOBS just to go and look for Version B and see someone say there's a F95 page for it AND that there's a total rework of the game on a new engine?

Shit's gotta be a coincidence that the day I found this page(I found it yesterday lol) people were talking about a new version being released 50 minutes prior.

Just asking, but how do I wake the centaur girl? I already used the search to see a bunch of other posts from years ago but none of them work.
Hitting the apples does nothing, and I don't see a way to get to the area wherever that hole above the centaur leads to.

I feel like I broke the game or something by cheesing the gas room and just running through it lol

If anyone also has this question, just make your way through until you get to the area above the salamander fight, and head left instead of right. Didn't realize that there would be an area to jump to from there after I beat them.

I didn't change nothing yet my S is for masturbation and shift is for dashing.

It's even been out for 10 months now slowly building up.
Last month was the release of the first build so we are finally out of the debug phase.
Before that they were working on animations for a horror themed game but it is just a huge gallery that monthly got a new scene.

I mean, I guess that's progress lol? Two new enemies isn't really a high water mark for me, but I guess it might be considering how slow Zell typically is. There were a butt-ton in Succubus Affection and his horror game. 2 doesn't really seem like something to scream about to me.

To be fair Zell is working on FOBS alone, and the programming isn't his forte. So it's not too surprising if things take a bit longer. SA and the horror game have Ansala working on them as well so Zell could focus purely on animation.
But from my recollection with the horror game demos, we were only getting one or two new characters each month.
IMO progress is quite similar in that regard probably even quicker with FOBS as he's tackling level design etc.. at the same time.

I've never done any work on games or animation so I can't really judge how long it takes, I don't know what it involves.

Tho from what I heard “Zell“ consists of 2 different person, not only one (one responsible for pixel-art and animation and the other all coding and polish).

Fair enough. Google apps are super strange if you're not used to them already, and even then they can still be confusing, so that makes perfect sense. Also, I'm not German, but ever since I started taking German classes, I have had a tendency to swap between German and English for small words and phrases. Not really sure why. Probably just a weird habit that I don't feel like breaking.

I think Zell might've been messing around with the controls a bit to see what works for most people and what doesn't. Whatever the case, it's luckily not too difficult to adjust if needed.
