  • The rabbit girl enemy has been moved to the desert. Although the steps to capture them are there (deplete hp then jerk off on her) you can't actually capture her.
  • The green girl with blade hands has been moved to the Gallery. Instead there's a new girl there.
  • Neko witches now move about and fire big ass fireballs at you. In the legacy version I recall you having to rapidly strike them while they're being charged to capture them, though I doubt this is in the modern version yet.

Anything new in this? Can't find anything
Update says there hasn't been much in terms of progress, just 1 new character + H-scene and combat for wild bunnies and cat-mage, all in the desert area.
Zell has talked about a few ideas instead like a quest system with H-events as rewards.

Same as the cat-mage (neko witch) capture method is there but not can't be captured.
Yes it is the same as back then, strike it until it explodes on herself, I just did it so as a heads up:
Keep in mind you are gonna get stunned if you aren't careful.
Hit it until it changes then run away and hope for the best.

There was no new "unlockable" content (im 99% sure) so I suppose a save from the previous version would work too
Nonetheless here's my save (goes into /Resources/save)

Make sure to unpack the zip ofc
Hey, could you find a link to that previous version? Since a few people have been saying the latest version has some problems with it (Rabbit girls now being uncapturable/etc) I'd like to start with that version but don't know how many pages back the correct link would be.

Which previous version are you referring to? Because the rabbit hasn't been capturable since the A and B versions on an entire different engine. But the previous version the other person was referring to is just the build from last month.

I know right?
I stopped trying to understand it.
But in the last post about the horror gallery they did not mention who it was but only that animation was finished and is now getting put in place.

No no, they have been making games since WAY past.
Only the remake is about a year old (going after it's first post)
I'm sure more veteran fans here can tell you more precisely when they came along.

Zell2323, Zell999; now Zell229.
I think this doesn't really matter.
Let's just plainly stick to Zell.

Did you save the site or find it on the front page?
They really should remove that if you got it from the front page.
Don't go on that link!
The blog is gone.
I saw another of his blog that he started like in 2014 irc, very nice seeing the origins. Also, this is the site im talking about, theres nothing there,

Congratulations everyone because FOBS-R is now officially
1 YEAR OLD!!!
It's really 1 year old? i forgot to keep track, also does the "R" mean "reboot" or "remake"? Do you know whats the difference between the old engine and the one he is using now? im starting to get curious about his works recently

Gods, I forgot how insanely old this game actually is. Over a decade old, technically. What even is the game like these days? It's been years since I played it.

There is literally no difference between them.
You can't capture Wild Bunnies and Cat-Mages because the game is still in development and constantly updated.
The previous versions didn't even have them.
The desert area is currently a preview area.

I told you to stop using that link!
I don't even think it's save to go there anymore and the blog is gone anyhow.

It's a remake.
The old engine had limits which is why Zell made B since he could no longer update FOBS.
That's why there is A and B.
Now that they are using this engine not only do they want to continue FOBS but remake/remaster it.
Revamped animations, better UI, English translations, new enemies, etc.
Many of the original monsters have been added back in already as well as new ones.
That's about everything we know.
