To be fair Zell is working on FOBS alone, and the programming isn't his forte. So it's not too surprising if things take a bit longer. SA and the horror game have Ansala working on them as well so Zell could focus purely on animation.I mean, I guess that's progress lol? Two new enemies isn't really a high water mark for me, but I guess it might be considering how slow Zell typically is. There were a butt-ton in Succubus Affection and his horror game. 2 doesn't really seem like something to scream about to me.
But from my recollection with the horror game demos, we were only getting one or two new characters each month.
IMO progress is quite similar in that regard probably even quicker with FOBS as he's tackling level design etc.. at the same time.
I've never done any work on games or animation so I can't really judge how long it takes, I don't know what it involves.
