When I downloaded the link on the first page here the file was named "Forest_of_the_Blue_Skin_Demo_4_30"

And the Pixiv page I think I found but couldnt read anything, found some other Zell's blog page.

So Im guessing the one I downloaded from the getuploader is fine?

Ok stop using random sites, I may not get around enough but it's always better to download from the creators official pages or from here, just for security reasons.
It says demo 4 30 because that is going of the date the build was published on which is April 30th so it is called April build.
To avoid confusion the front page's links should say version R when downloading in my opinion.
As for why you can't read anything it is an Asien site after all and Zell doesn't translates their posts.
I usually just go and copy the whole posts and put them in google translate since I can't get browser translations to work.
I don't know getuploader but it's best to just stick to this and Fanbox.

yeah I saw the front page, the issue is that I can't find specific walkthroughs that explain how to get to other areas. the walkthrough is kinda basic.

Ok first do you mean the old version A and B or do you mean the remaster?
There used to be a fandom page for fobs but it was demolished with only it's meta data surviving.

can anyone please tell me how to get to the button in the room with the alraunes? I can't find anywhere else saying how to do it and I can't figure it out on my own, I've cleared all the other rooms in the tunnels and now I just need the one in the alraune room but I just can't figure it out

Eh, you can ask here, no worries.
Anyway just use the search bar at the top of the page while in this thread, set the search from everywhere to "this thread" then search for posts by Nobel Kind.
They usually posted mega links to that back when it got updates.

It it possible to obtain and equip skills besides the Slime Wall in the remaster? Have captured a few monster girls now but havent unlocked any skills.

That is less a demo or even a game and now of a scene show off.
Nothing to do besides having all the H-scenes at your disposal. (interact with the mirror to the right once you open the game)

Only the slime wall is implemented so only that skill can be equipped.

No I mean after finishing the cave I just beat the race challenge not sure if I'm just at the end of the remastered edition.

Yes you are.
Once you are finished there you need to go to that stone alter/gate thing where you put the green orb in.
That leads to a preview of the desert area.
