The overlap isn't really all that close so it makes sense that people didn't talk about it.
Firstly, the erotic focus in Repurearia is sissyfication and loss of masculinity.

FOBS, has involved capture mechanics that force you to engage with the adult elements if you want to get the powers of the girls. Also FOBS has various gimmiks that bring out eroticism through level design.
Thirdly, and this is important. I didn't find Repurearia's gameplay to be that engaging. When I lost fights in that game, I thought, well bullet hell nonsense, might as well buy items to fix this. When I lost fights in FOBS (if I did) it's cause I wanted to see the scene the enemy had, or because I just got wrecked underestimating the enemy.
Yeah, Repure Aria is an entirely different conversation. It's a beautiful series but good fucking lord is it easy to get lost if you don't read Japanese (although translation mods exist these days which is nice). Plus the dev has a habit of making hit or miss scenes (loli character scenes also outweigh adult character scenes) and they're not exactly animated that fluidly.
Meanwhile FoBS is a game most can play and cherish, favouring straight-forward maps with a sprinkle of secrets here and there, but generally going harder on enemies + ways you can interact with those enemies. It's a lot more enjoyable to get into either as a game or a nsfw game, plus no need to understand a word of Japanese either.
