Version A and B are the closest thing we have of a full game. The new remake is in its alpha stage.
The last post about shiro no yakata that is not the gallery version (the one with intro and big wolf girl) was Zell telling that he didnt know what to do with the game. But idk, i didnt even remember if this was a solo project or a duo like SA is, also there is the second game ongoing. And he show another 2 enemies in one of the latest post that still dont have animation or at least not public announced.
There are 2 horror games Zell is involved in, I can't remember all the details but I think one he's doing solo and the other (the one he stopped working on about 8 months ago) he's working on with the same guy who he made SA with, I think he's called Ansala if I remember right. They have slightly creative differences which is why Zell also wanted to do one in his own style as well.
That's just the way the devs work, the new FOBS Ramake is following that same path and eventually the story and game progress will be added when most of the assets are finished.

I think they are only working on 3 at most and "they" are not only one person but 2 (one working on animation and the other on coding).
When I load the file it says "File has not been designated" what does that mean, and how do i fix it?

From what I understand that game is either on hiatus or got replaced/combined with the original Shiro no Yakata project.
FOBSDemo.part1 is an extractor, you just need to run it and extract the files into a separate folder, your game should work, don't touch FOBSdemo.part2 and you should be fine in theoryUmmm can someone help and tell me what i did wrong,
after i downloaded both zips, i put them in the same folder and extracted both at the same time.
as there are multiple files with the same name and size i clicked yes to all and replaced those files, probably from the second zip to the files in the first zip,
then i ran the player which i circled in the bottom
after running it, a black screen appears and then it closes of after a few seconds
soo can someone help me and guide me how i can play and run the game as it is very different from fobs A and B where we can run the launcher immediately
btw i think i've downloaded all the necessary programs and plug-ins that zell recommended
-edit, i tried another way where i put both zips into the same folder and ran the part 1 zip and it still gave the exact same results.
and also i have already downloaded the japanese language pack into my windows soooo yea idk how to run the game, pls help
Yep i was seeing succubus diary posts, and it looks like is not a horror game like shiro no yakata, it has stealth but u can fight. Maybe this was the problem that separate this 2, why they do this for sequel on an adventure combat game.
