A short recap:
The underling mouse and Byakko (small white tiger paw monster) have a fight now.
Also added a fight with a new character called.......skeleton warrior?
You can now dash while pressing down to guard using left or right.
Lastly a new treasure item was added but it doesn't work yet.

I always like to think that it always worked only that people didn't really know what to do.
Messing up in the process and ending up breaking it.
Can't know for certain that is the issue but I just like to think it that way. :/

I'm glad we were able to make you laugh, and I hope that continues to be the case going forward. I was too nervous to really interact here for the majority of the time that I've been here, so knowing that I've had a positive impact by taking that leap of faith is comforting. ^^

Keep in mind that the amount of girls that can be added each update is limited. Don't worry, some more that match your tastes will eventually pop up. (Besides, it would kinda defeat the purpose of being a game about capturing a bunch of unique monsters if they all had the exact same body shape.)

Personally I'm just waiting for more of the poison swamp and also the temple to finally turn up, they had some fun monsters in those places. But lately I feel like zell is more interested in making new areas and monsters rather than improving the animations of older ones. Which is really concerning when he hasn't done the mouse grappler enemy yet. Hell he hasn't even touched the old popularity contest winners either, gotta wonder where his priorities are.
I don't think it helps he's split three-ways making sprites for three games, two of which are basically the same game concept with a different director at the helm (himself and Ansala).

That last concern is understandable, but remember that this is supposed to be a complete remake. While we all hope to get the old monsters back, there's no real guarantee nor obligation that we'll get absolutely every single one. Besides, I'm fairly sure most of the girls added in the past few updates ARE some of the old girls, just with some makeovers. I wouldn't say his focus is completely on new stuff, more so trying to strike a balance so those ideas he wanted to execute the first time can see some form of implementation before getting entirely lost in all the old stuff getting remade.
