From what I heard there a bunch of bots around lately sharing "new updates" in some threads, so people are very distrustful these days.

(I saw that happen to time in a thread for a game that's been waiting for an update for more than 2,5 years what probably made many fall for it).

Fair, But in that case, you might as well go and get the demo directly from the developer's page or follow him on the various social networks to see how the work is progressing

in the (vast) majority of cases, obviously not Zell, they have accounts on X, Bluesky, Pixiv, Ci-en, Subscribstar... where you can follow their content, After all, if people have been hoping for an update for 2 years without any news from the devs, and suddenly some random person announces a new update, people DL it without searching, and as if by chance “CORONAVIRUS ON YOUR COMPUTER” Bah indeed, I think it's a bit of Karma all the same

That's also the risk of downloading free versions, you'll always have people acting in good faith, and others who abuse it, so it's up to people like us to be vigilant

Older A and B versions can be found in the Original Post on the "Old Builds" section.

Game is being Remade now, no more A or B version, dev also only really uses their Fanbox.Pixiv account now so if you want any updates about their progress that's were you need to check (link can also be found in the Original Post).

It's called a "false positive" were something that isn't actually malicious gets flagged.
Many indi/gamejolt games have that problem and, hell, even I recently had that happen to me on DRG (deep rock galactic) a fucking steam game of all things!
Now I can't even play it anymore because the executable keeps getting deleted unless I change where steam downloads the game; what a real hassle...

You need to do some routes to be able to pay as a non asian customer, at least in dlsite you need to find alternative paying routes that does not require you to be from that region. Asians always blocking foreign people by making it really diffycult to buy from them.

Yo, is there a way for anybody to send me a copy of the latest burusukin no mori? I tried to download it off of variority of websites such as fantia, fanbox, buying tora coins, patreon. Literally nothing works. If I were to take a wild guess it's one of these reasons:

A. Debit card
B. Different region
C. Something wrong with the website itself (Although this one I think it's unlikely).
D. Bank isn't supported

It'd be easier if I had American express or JCB.

The show case debug demos we get every week already have several remastered scenes (especially noticeable on the the kappa turtle scenes after glow) and already got a few new monsters already.
As well as many new feature additions that where not present in the A or B versions!

- adding a menu with settings
- new area biomes
- a shop (in-game, not microtransactions)
- a block
- special H-events instead of a simple scene to find
and many things to come the next months...

It is just like an amusement park at the moment with new additions each week just like with that horror gallery they made, Shiro no Yakata or Shirante Tower or whatever, I am bad at remembering.
The Stanley Parable did something similar with their demo, it had nothing but assets from the game yet perfectly captured the whole game in it's demo and Zell is doing that here too by giving us scenes and new features which they are currently working on.
And most importantly every month we get a new show case debug update!
I don't see this really as a game or a build yet since there isn't even progression yet :/
Which is why I didn't name it as such.
Let's hope it releases soon!

Huh Im liking this new style of deving a game... Just like Voices of The Void.... Creator creates game and nobody knows how its supposed to progress till we get the final product.. Just the assets there and we can fiddle with it. It kinda ruins the Expectancy part of a new game because by releasing content every month and the player being able to interact with assets kinda kills the hype a bit... But at least we seeing results. Godspeed for Zell. Im gonna wait for the final product just like im waiting for Voices of the Void to finally get a final version

I personally like the idea. This way, for those that play for gameplay more than story, they'll know whether or not they want to stick with the game based on what it offers in terms of gameplay and its inner workings, then the story can be a cherry on top. And for those that are interested in the opposite, while this may not be ideal for them, they'll know whether or not they'd consider sitting through even a mediocre story worthwhile with how the game plays, since that cherry on top could very well decide the fate of the entire milkshake if it isn't excessively good or bad.
