Is there a guide on how to capture all the monsters/get the achievements floating around anywhere? The website that used to be for the old version A and B is long defunct, and having something more concrete to refer to would hopefully mean fewer people (I.e., me) asking about things all the time

i found the needed stuff for it if you still haven't figured it out or are still trying i had the same issue but when i downloaded the visual c++ 2012 version the game would start and run like normal heres a link to the download

I just downloaded the new build, and for some reason it's playing at a snail's pace! Is the game meant to be this slow?

If there's more than one enemy in the room i'm in, the game feels like it's playing at like 30% speed. Can anyone help? Idk what to do to make it normal speed?

It's an optimization issue, the game is still a bit lacking in that aspect. Best you can do is close a few programs, but that's an issue that may not be fully fixed for a minute.

I haven't read the back log of posts here but just in case you don't know, the orc gatekeeper in the remake version is capturable by just rapidly masturbating and cumming on her BEFORE she stands up to fight you truly a make love not war moment

First you have to defeat her once, knock out the key and enter the gate. You have to go back and carefully approach her from the front, she will open her eye, but will not attack unless you come too close. Finish on her once and she will offer you. We agree, after one time we break out and she is ours.

Though Cat, while I appreciate your answer and the video attached, in the future, please mention all of the steps required for capturing a character in case someone can't open the video. Had Valdemarus not responded first and your video not worked, I would have never known she had to be defeated first without randomly stumbling upon it.

This is why I say Nobel Kind specifically all the time.
Because they don't just go and get the files then post them, but does the combining part for us so none of us get a headache of doing this or downloading these weird C++ things.
If you wanna be a hero to them too it's better to help them out there by providing the finished combined thing.

After Version A the game engine reached it's limit, resulting in Version B to be made.
After b hit v1.05 Zell decided to abandon FOBS for now and come back to it later which meant no more updates were made.
8 months ago on May 30th 2024 Zell announced they are coming back to FOBS but they would be remaking the game fully!
New engine, enhanced animations, additional content, you name it!
So please consider that they only worked 8 months on it as the remake is separate from A and B versions.

If the antivirus says it's a virus, it means it's a virus -_- with your logic (TURN IT OFF) it's like giving the keys to your house to the first person you meet on the street.

But I noticed a STRANGE situation, if you download one file at a time, everything is fine, but if you download 2 rar in ONE FILE, then it complains about a virus. BUT I (already in 2025) am still paranoid and wouldn't trust anyone's word.
But even if it did happen (a false alarm), it is still not normal and it is not clear what exactly caused the alarm...

Do you know about a game called Deep Rock Galactic?
In short it's a Steam game, I'd say somewhat popular, and I once gotten 2 flags from it while before never getting them.
One flag was because the game wanted to access my mic and webcam which threw me off and when blocking the access my game got blackscreened which I could only get out of with great effort (but not blocking it let's the game run normally) and the other flag completely bricked my game to a point I have to change where the game is downloaded from D: to C: since it blocks the executable file needed to run the game.
My point being?
All of this is just getting ridiculous to me. -_-

That wasn't my logic, but let me explain. FOBS has been showing up as a virus because of what you said: the way it extracts requires two files, and the fact that another weirdly formatted extractable is sitting inside another extractable seems suspicious,...

That's because Zell is legally not allowed to post the thing and has to split it up this way so it is allowed.

White Stain = Bukkake or cum on them
male/female symbol = intercourse

Idk, sounds weird to include alternate ways to capture them.

The old wiki has been preserved on the main page of this threat and as for the remake no idea; I haven't seen a post of it in a while.
Edit: Supreme Dumbass of Thyme is one behind that so look for posts from them.

Anyone know how to get the second achievement for the forest dweller, I think it has something to do with parrying but IDK.

As said in the last update there is no way of 100% the "game" yet.
So you just have to get used to some of these not working.

The hint was, in fact, correct. But the step that was missing in previous versions was the door. I think the animation that leads into her capture is linked to her animation when you come back through the door, where she looks at you spitefully. If that doesn't trigger, the capture sequence is unavailable because the game can't confirm that you actually beat the Gatekeeper.

While labbing for a while to figure out Mush and the Forest Dweller, I accidentally discovered this. Apparently all of the hints ARE coded into the game, just not readily available. I think they unlock either as you capture enemies or after you conventionally defeat them. I'm not sure, because this is not what I was looking for at all-

Edit: I also think that the 2nd Forest Dweller achievement isn't implemented yet, since it doesn't even have a clear condition yet. The achievement for Kappa is still bugged, as I DID capture one, just didn't get the achievement. (It has the wrong picture anyway, so that's probably why.) The Harpy is likely not capturable yet since there's no hit whatsoever. The Mush race, unless I just need to look a bit harder, is likely to be in that one room of the cave that can't be entered or the room near the bottom that leads nowhere. Mashira is still bugged, and I think that's because her achievement is linked to fighting her again, since it's not taking into account that you might just be cracked on your first (or "first") try. But when you fight her again, the game softlocks after she's defeated, and even if you reload the same save, no achievement. Also, finally, I haven't figured out Mush yet. Much like the Slime, that one was auto-completed, but instead of unlocking on game start, it was unlocked after capturing the Gatekeeper, which is...strange. It seems that most of the elements of her capture are present, but there's still a piece that seems to be missing...

Edit: Well, I went and did it, and this does reveal some things. I think that the Kappa's achievement might be linked to an entirely different character, which is strange. I'll check on another save file if it's linked to what I think it is, but it's likely just a dead string of code. You were right about the 2nd Forest Dweller achievement, but that is also bugged. I defeated 10 and captured 5 without knowing what the achievement was, and I got a whole lotta nothing. Which I can only assume means it wants you to defeat 5 Forest Dwellers in different spots, which can't be done since only one exists in this version of the game.

yeah with that there's only one achivement remaining- at least i have one left locked. the one with the bird enemy. idk how to capture it. i know that there's some bird feather item and thats about it
