I did hear tho that the project was split between Ansala and Zell due to different views on the game.
Not sure if it was stated anywhere but we believe that this split is what resulted in Ansalas's version to maybe become SA2.

Where can you find the Barometz and the final wasteland fast travel spot? I've never seen the Barometz and I just found out about the library so I think there's more I'm missing

You are very wrong, there's no merge, ToS/SnY and SA2 are two seperate games, Zell stated that years ago, his focus is on FOBS remake and SA2, ToS/SnY have always been a pet project of his that he will eventually release, there's already enough content to release the game but it need some form of story, he isn't updating the demo but progress is still being made.

Actually you are not right either, ToS and SnY are 2 different games, and Sa2 and SnY are Ansala projects, Zell only participates as an Artist.

Zell started working on SnY, things weren't working so well, so they asked Ansala to aid with the programming stuff, but at some point Zell didn't agreed with the direction of the game because Ansala have different tastes than them.

So Zell created ToS that along FOBS are the only projects so far that belong exclusively to them.

SA2 was on the works before SnY replaced it and took priority over, on Ansala circle official website they claim that SA2 development will (re)start after finishing SnY. Now, it's was been many years since then, who knows if that will still happen anyway.

As you can see in the screenshot above, SoY was planned to be a "Horror Action ADV" following the aspects of the first builds originally made by Zell, but at some point that changed to a new direction, it will now be a "Dark Action RPG", with a gameplay a lot similar to SA (you can find many gameplay vids on the

I think you most be talking about the original version (PartA v1.20 and PartB v1.05). You can download both from the "Old Builds" section in the original post (first page).
